I doubt it. I think the taxes you have to pay was always the dirty little secret of game shows, though it was known by many, including being acknowledged by Bob a few times. If he did sell the Corvette, he still came out quite well, I'm sure, but it's still a shame how this big ticket items were mostly sold to cover the taxes.
@@RedNekLvr22 there are various posts on reddit of people who have been on the show or know someone that was with the cars, like this corvette, he would have to pay state and federal taxes on it, *BEFORE* even being handed the keys so basically 95% of the car winners just resold it right away, at a loss $ , to the dealership where they were supposed to pick it up after the show because they couldnt afford the upfront taxes
The only car game was 3 Strikes for that Escort and it was won, but I wonder how much money someone won during Plinko that edition. I've always been accustomed to two car games and, at times, a cash game. Little black Corvette, baby, it's much too fast!
