Well hello there!!
At this point my first project can be concidered finished. Thanks to all people who taught and supported me on this journey.
Special thanks to Vulonsulin aka @Sort of Arbitrary for opening the doors to this craft :3
This mod includes many options which you can add or not. The full list includes:
-All RDM job spells VFX and animations.
-The Primal themed Teleport VFX.
-New weapon designed specificly for this mod - Primal gloves. It has it's own model, VFX and idle animations.
-Custom spells icons and job HUD.
The mod is fully adjusted to every race, you just need to choose it in respected options. Enjoy :3

question: how can i get the rdm job icon to work? it says this " Check this mod in both default and personal collection to work. " in textools but i dont understand it. thank you.

I had high expectations for this pack from how long you worked on it and the dedication you put into it. You exceeded all of them. Impressive doesn't describe it. I am honored to have helped even a little. That job gauge was especially well done. I know how difficult HUD and UI elements can be.

Absolutely beautiful! I don't even play red mage and I can say I am convinced to try it coming from black mage. I hope we got something like this for Blm eventually from the community with how fantastic the animations look and how it just feels like a whole new class in itself!~ fantastic work ^^

amazing, I especially like how you handled the verholy and verflare, both the action and the special effects are quite powerful and destructive, which fits the theme Primal very well, also giving the satisfaction for the sense of the finishing move, just like how original RDM was but now it's beyond ; I also like how you used the hand effects to cover up the hands details of the original action. Instead, the hand effects that keep changing during the skills also show the characteristics that are not present in the original action, even if you can recall what the action was take from, it still feels very smooth and natural, make most of action look alomst like that was what it suppose to look like.

This is very well done. Makes my future dreams of a staff-less BLM not seem so far fetched. I've been watching a bit of Fire Force lately and Maki Oze dual wielding fireballs made me wonder if it would be possible in FFXIV (I don't know the limitations of the animations and all that). I will be giving this mod a whirl soon!

This is an absolute masterpiece, thank you so much for your dedication to this work. I recently came across it and now want to give what support I can so you can continue making more of these projects happen. I have a question regarding the gear where your legs are glowing and matching the weapons. How did you make that happen or is that something separate and where would I find that?

that's gear aura option. you need to choose and wear Emperor's new hat or Sable death mask for that

I do love what I am seeing, the only small gripe I feel is the job gauge is a bit busy I guess is the word for it. Looks good but I know for me it feels like it would be hard to take a quick glance and pick the correct choice for Flare/Holy and I think that is just due to the zig-zag pattern.

I love it thanks a lot! The animations are beautiful. If it's possible could you make an invisible version of the claws I tried to swap with emperor fist with glamourer but the animations don't work.

Gorgeous pack. Played a bit, after a while using it I'm still not used to the delay with Impact. Feels like mobs are stuck until the animation ends for them to die.

Hey just wanted to say this is an AMAZING mod, been following for about a month now and when i saw that u posted the full mod i all but jumped in joy, this is THE coolest mod i have ever seen, and i will be using it for as long as i play RDM, no mod comes close imo, this is amazing and i hope you're proud of all the hard work and the incredible result, i hope to see more of your work some day but even if u don't wanna make more mods this is still a singular mod that stands above the rest🤍🖤🤍🖤

It was some full body aura. I had to rescale it several times and cut out excessive elements. I believe VFXEditor can show you VFX paths for that when you click on an 'eye' icon

Is it possible to split and provide each skill individually, with their respective icons? I'm thinking of using this for a ng+ run, and I think it would be really cool to only have some of the spells changed during shb.

no, but there is multihit preset. I like it more, but you can't use it together with namingway

this is amazing! I have an issue where the default casting animation isn't replaced (just the casting part, the animation works properly for each spell when the cast finishes, do you have an idea why that is?

Probably because you didn't set penumbra or the mod properly. The modpack itself works. For cast animation you need to have different settings for default and personal collection which is conveniently described in hints I put.

This is gorgeous! Only thing Im having trouble with is weapons. I hold one claw (black) and the Rapiers Orb thingy in the other hand. Cant figure out how to get the white claw on other hand.

@@DiLied I really wish I knew. Same thing happens if I glamourer a different weapon for dancer or Ninja. I end up with one dancer/Ninja weapon that my vanilla is using in one hand, and the other thats on glamourer in the other. So its not something related to this epic mod. Figured someone here might know how to fix though (Sorry didnt mean to turn this into like, a helpline or something lol)

I am loving the look of this mod, but I was wondering if anyone else is having an issue with the one fist weapon. When casting spells, in the "windup" of the spell, the white fist comes off the arm and floats in front of my character where its parallel to my shoulders.

Hey I really like this mod. Is there any way to use the Weapon on Monk as well? Would fit so good on Monk since its two big Gloves.

I don't think so, it had so many problems to make and it still clips through hands. You can try to instal it on textools and then itemswap it with any other monk gloves but I don't guarantee it will work well

Hey, when casting jolt, veraero, or thunder, it starts your animation but then immediately defaults to the rdm animation. Is this because of the recent update? or is this a setting I'm missing somewhere EDIT: It took restarting the game to fix this for anyone having this issue! Also thanks for all the work you put in your mods, you deserve the world

Amazing mod. Having a blast giving it a go. Only thing that could make it better is if there was a Multihit file for this mod. By the way, is the armor you're wearing for the preview video part of the mod itself or is it from somewhere else?

I have to ask, isn't it not recommended to mod traversal moves? Like Corp-a-corps adn displacement?

you can change only animation.pap, sound and vfx. Movement actions have restricted files that should not be touched, because they are affected by server ticks and can be potentially noticed. I surely haven't touched those. All my modes are pure cosmetics.

Everything but the casting animation works for me. I get the wings and skill effect and all but the casting stance still acts like im using a rapier and focus instead of holding my hands to the side. anyway to fix that?

I can't seem to get the Icons to switch, the job gauge is working fine but the icons and spell names are not swapping, you mentioned changing a system setting for HQ icons? I couldn't find this setting, can you tell me how to navigate to it?

Hey dunno if it was the 6.5 update or just penumbra but some of the effects look off now, wings look weird and embolden makes it look like you're underwater

no, it's modpack signature weapon, but you can disable it and use just bare hands

Enable weapon option for your race, then Equip Bronze Spear.

you can choose another destination weapon in penumbra settings or use item converter in textools or use glamourer plugin

@@DiLied Just an update, but I found that it doesn't work in TexTools but works fine in Penumbra. Weird, but at least I have the Job Gauge now.

I guess you're using textools to install mods. If you want them to be seen on your character only, you need to install them via Penumbra plugin.

you can change destination item to whatever you want

@@DiLied Ah, I am unfamiliar with the process, I would usually use the item swap feature in Penumbra's Advanced Editing but that does not include weapons. I will attempt to learn how to do it the alternative way.

use Textools, go to Tools - Item Converter, choose Source Item, which is Emerald Rapier and Destination Item, which is any weapon you like. Then save it as a modpack and add it to Penumbra@@GwyndolinEnthusiast
