“When you’re in a violent t relationship with the mother, you are in a violent relationship with the children” I wish all of our family court judges could learn from Judge Boyd. Boyd is a hero in my book.
She was interviewed locally. I watched the interview on RU-vid. She talked about growing up. How she made money as a little girl. I absolutely love this women❤
I really love when judge Boyd has time to chat to the lawyers. ie, (the chocolate bars. they're talking about). It's brilliant! it shows the human side of them. With respect. 🎉 Then instantly she turns back into the judge head
So a man presumed to be innocent has been sitting in jail for 3 years? How does he get that 3yrs back if and when he’s found innocent? There’s no excuse for that.
So he has been in jail for 3 years because the state prosecution can't get the evidence it needs to prosecute!!???? No! That's so disappointing! He may have done it but we don't know and he is in jail as an innocent man because he has not been PROVEN guilty!!! So much for innocent until proven guilty!
Sounds like an issue in the federal level as well. Multi state involvement of him fleeing/evading.Numerous charges/allegations and one being murder….no bail for murder.
And, she says she isn’t going to let him out on a murder charger but there is a bond. So wealthy murder suspects with the means to flee can be out but poor people with barely the means to catch a city bus have to sit in jail for 3 years and if found not guilty…will never get that time back! It’s not disappointing it’s outrageous!
@@TheSlb1984 I agree! You should watch the John Oliver episode regarding this problem - it really opens your eyes to these issues. Overworked attorneys, overcrowded prisons, innocent people, large bonds. These are often for minor crimes without any weapons, drugs, or other people involved.
Now i see why Judge Boyd is so great. Shes an OG fan of Star Trek ! She has great respect for Spock .. and knows that Captain Janeway rocks !! I understand how she sees the world.. ask any Trekie Fan and these are important questions. Lol
No matter how many times she has to repeat the same statements every case, she always speaks clearly and is thorough. I5s annoying when some will speak so fast....it may be their 5000x stating it but its likely the dependents 1st time hearing it. Boyd is perfection!!
Sounds like the lawyers are not on top of things in some cases. And even their attitudes do not seem to be very interested in getting cases moved on in a timely manner.
Grits, a fried egg & slice of cheese....yummy! That said, when I lived in Ontario, Canada years ago, my mom would send me grits & other goodies for Christmas from Oklahoma, because I couldn't find them up there.
Thin mints kept in the freezer it’s the only way. I agree also about the grits! Butter salt and pepper is the best way but I do love some shrimp and grits also but then you have to have cheese and bacon and the shrimp seasoning! But when I am sick I like grits with butter cream and a little sweet n low. I don’t know why but that’s always easy whenever I’m sick.
I'm been listening to Judge Boyd for a few months now, LOVE her, but when she said Picard is not at least in the top 3 of Star Trek captains, man Judge you lost a fan here!! 🤣
Really... I think Picard was a fine captain. I liked Ben Sisko much more. Kirk was a good captain. I liked Commander \ Captain Archer from Enterprise the most of all. I liked Archer because he alone seemed the most real and down to Earth. When Captain Archer was confronted by adversity you saw it play out in every aspsect of the characters being. You could feel Archer struggle with his decisions in a time before "The Federation" had all its rules and policies on all aspects of space exploration and dealings with others codified. Archer was a good man put into a very difficult situation and through him the best of humanity often shone through.
About children and grandchildren living with parents or grandparents my daughter in law and my granddaughter have been living with us for about a year now and it's been rough . Because her father was not in her life as a child reasons why is a personal one . My daughter in law doesn't work , doesn't clean or cook . I do and I'm in my sixties. It's getting to me and because my daughter in law feels like she is entitled nothing has changed . All we do is argue with her because she doesn't want any advice from her father or myself ( which I feel she doesn't have to take any advice from me because I'm not her mother. She always screams at her daughter and she is three years old . We cannot say anything to her about that or it's a battle . My husband and I are on social security but he does lawn care for a little money taking off the rent . We're struggling and she doesn't help well she might throw a couple bucks here and there . We told her that as soon as we could find a cheaper place we were going to move . Well we did find a small place because the man who lived upstairs moved out and we're moving in and there's not enough room for all of us and my daughter in law said thanks dad for telling me in a short time but he's been telling her for months that if something comes up that's cheaper rent then we're moving we gave her two months before we move we could've moved out sooner but we decided in two months .Ok , I vented enough . Does anyone have any advice about our situation please comment and thank you .
What is this bait trap about? This is the first time I heard about it. I think it's where the judge gives a ridiculous sentence knowing that the person fail conditions and gives him or her the Max time of the sentence. Hmmmm
As young as she is she has to rest it's daytime why isn't she sitting in a chair even in their living room laying on the bed is disrespectful no matter how you look at it and it makes you not looking so bright to justify it
I'm bailing on this video as everyone says click bait is being used. I saw another Judge Boyd video where click bait was used. I wonder if this channel is the guilty party?
Favorite Captain In Star Trek Mrs Boyd. I will have to say Captain Janeway. Plus here’s some Star Trek history Captain Janeway who is played by Kate Mulgrew is from Dubuque Iowa my home town…
Prosecutor Brittany Mitchell may need to go back to school or change careers…she always seems to forget something or just not do something…she has that “oops” look about her just about all the time…she’s nerve-wracking
How dare she say she hates Thin Mint Cookies. But, I might forgive her if she had the bad ones. For anyone who doesn’t know there are two Girl Scout Bakeries. They are the ABC Bakery and the Little Brownie Bakers. The former covers the east side of the country, while the latter covers the west side. I live in California where we get the Little Brownie Bakers version of the Girl Scout Cookies. In terms of the Thin Mints, ABC Bakery makes the version. So, when that time of year comes around I have to order Thin Mints online from the ABC Bakery. This situation also exists for other Girl Scout Cookies. For example, there are two different versions of the Lemonade Cookies.
Weather in Michigan is the same here if it’s cold, they were freezing it complaining if it’s hot then it’s too hot and we’re complaining still I don’t get it
What The state is prosecuting this case so it would make sense that they would want all Information/records even from other counties To do that fairly ? Why hasn't the defense sent a request to Homeland security for the records they have already ? Seems both sides are dragging their feet on this case.
The prosecutor doesn't have enough experience or age to be as cocky as he is, especially when he's showing up the week before trial without disclosing ALL discovery. I swear, our system is so screwed up. It's simply based on how much do you have to spend on a lawyer, what color your skin is, or how lazy the police investigations were.
This is the first time I thought Judge Boyd seemed to favor the prosecution. To be in custody for 3 years without going to trial, and the state and judge acting so “nonchalantly” just comes across corrupt.
This judges attitude, personality, character, and wisdom should be bottled up and sold. She is the best role model of how to be a a decent human being.
