I don’t really mess with drill rap but I get why authentic rappers make it. As someone who was exposed to this life as a toddler, has family who still live it, and young family who are being exposed to the music and lifestyle regularly, it’s really crazy that this kid with all the opportunity in the world it using it to get richer. That’s the reason why they have a strict dress code and the reason why almost everyone shows up in suits. Ja Morant acting gangster just makes him lose a ton of money because of the games he misses and because of the loss of sponsorships. If he keeps it up, he’ll eventually end up out of the NBA.

Dang. That's crazy. I'm not on TikTok so I've never heard of him, but woah... It honestly blows my mind. I remember growing up people would call you a poser if you didn't skate well, rappers who weren't gangsters were fake, and now people just don't care. What's really messed up is if you think about the societal barriers, once anyone who wasn't born into money makes a fortune, they're never truly accepted within these higher social crowds.
