No host comes close to Ricki Gervais for outspoken talent . He is brutally honest and speaks what others are thinking . There will never be another host as outspoken an honest as Ricki . I never watch the award shows , way over rated , but everyone needs to watch Ricki call out all the actors in outtakes . Ricki is a genius at his trade , best comedian ever .

In his humble beginnings as a stand-up comedian, he made his comedy about everyday experiences by ordinary people. While most people would contrast this with subject matters people mostly talk about in high society or among businesspeople, I'd contrast it with sword-and-sorcery settings, science fiction, and references to acclaimed or beloved video games and films. The way I observe things would somehow be connected to a good stand-up comedy routine, but I'd need other people to help apply them to one.
