D&D races are not designed in a way that encourages roleplay. In many cases they are indistinguishable from one another. But what's the point in having so many playable ancestries with so many amazing concepts if you don't capitalize on them? If playing with ancestry A, B or C doesn't have any impact on your game and your roleplay, what's the benefit of having so many?
