Ngl, I had no idea there was even riddles in the vaults lol. I always went straight to looking the codes up I think it would be a lot of fun to put short platformer levels in all of the vaults for some unlocks instead of typing random codes tbh. Or maybe the codes unlock more platformer levels in the vaults 🤔
I'm sorry, but #4 is absolutely subjective. People can like or dislike whatever icons they want. Just because you don't like a majority of the vault icons doesn't mean that it's a legitimate problem with the vaults, it's just that you don't like these particular icons. The same will be the case in 2.2, as there might be vault icons that you and/or me might not like. There will never be a perfect icon that everyone will like.
While i do side with you on this, most of the icons for the vaults look... odd? They look so rushed expect for a few, more notably the ones brought to life in 2.1. But still, this is still subjective.
I really like this new layout, it just adds more to the vaults and their respective keeepers/guardians, in both a literal, figurative and conceptional way.
Homie is like GDColon with better editing, I hope you go far, this is good stuff! Also, yeah it goes without saying the vaults suck and all these ideas are way better lmao. Hopefully Rob comments "agree" on this video and completely revamps them
@@white_man1352 Colon's videos would be boring if he gave no input on how he feels, that's the point of making videos is being able to put your opinion in them.
@@blokvader8283 yeah because finding a random level in a gauntlet that isnt even bad and then sending your fanbase of 10 year olds to harass the creator and call the level dogshit is totally ok and totally not his own opinion , until now ive never heard of anyone complain about that level now look the entire comment sections is filled with toddlers shitting on the level, also dont let me start on his takes on secret coins because once again it is his own opinion that he is shoving down the throat of others
@white_man7030 He had valid criticisms about the level, and players are forced to play that level, if dumbass little kids went to bully the level, Colon wasn't behind that. Most commentary youtubers are against "Witchhunting" and shit like that. Also, the secret coin thing is part of the main game, he's analyzing RobTop's game design and giving input as how to make the game better, and also giving viewers insight if THEY ever want to try game design, what they should do to make their game as enjoyable as possible. Also, even if he was "shoving his opinions down your throat" he's talking about a fucking videogame, you can just NOT watch the video if you don't want to.
@@blokvader8283 he didnt even say a disclaimer as every single normal human being does to not harass the creator, not only that but he went so extremely aggressive on the level that really felt like it was his personal opinion (literally calling the level garbage and all that , with that amount of subscribers i think you should have a limit considering your fanbase) , his opinion on secret coins are his and does not have to be the way he thinks they should and year ur right i can just not watch the video ,but that doesnt stop the 10 year olds from watching it and thinking the same because big youtuber said so
4:35 the logic behind this riddle is: "makes me feel Lost" notice how "Lost" is capitalized like that? "page one was page two" "page three was page six" the page numbers are doubled this talks about numbers and Lost, as well as doubling numbers there is a TV series called Lost, where the numbers "4 8 15 16 23 42" appear quite often and have gained a sense of infamy and importance in the series doubling these numbers gives 8 16 30 32 46 84, the solution to the riddle still not good but at least it makes sense sorta
I hope that RobTop does the level idea, since it would be interesting to unlock icons by beating demon levels, since the main levels are mostly easy. Maybe diffrent vaults could have different types of demon levels?
I’m not fond of this video it feels like he ran out of ideas. There’s nothing wrong with where it’s placed and click to talk.. it’s perfectly fine as it
00:00 Intro 01:00 #1: The Vaults are in very unconventional locations 02:47 #2: How you talk to them is boring/what they have to say is even more boring 04:31 #3: The Riddles make no sense 06:51 #4: The Rewards Suck 09:16 #5: The Vaults have too little to do in them. 10:25 Comparison/Outro +I don’t think you care
Concept 2: ARG. Although I feel like some codes indeed feel random, like you said, them only being logic based riddles and general category codes is also repetitive. There is a wide variety of ARG puzzles available, and we know RobTop has the skill to create them. So, if you balance the difficulty of these ARG puzzles correctly, you can make them: - Thematic - Include categories like Gameplay, Encryption, Sounds, Interactive (not the same as a regular GD level) and Research. With balancing the difficulty, we would have to be very careful though. We do not want to make these too difficult and vague either, because that causes the guide issue again.
Bro you're so underrated, just subscribed cause you're acually putting in effort in your videos and your points are acually fire. Keep going man, you'll eventually reach 100k subs!
the vaults could encommend missions to you like go see what is happening in the sewers and the playformer mode shows up and after completing that mission you get a reward
I've always wanted a level Where the Vault Of Secrets guardian founds out that S blocks existed and made the challenge less buggy and way harder (But still has a skip somewhere) Also when I found out how Cod3breaker works, I figured it would be fun to have that for the Guardian of Time but you have to do something different. (Also a better icon)
I watched the video, thinking it was very good quality and then i look at the subscriber count, expecting to see at leaskt 100K, but you have only 2.6K? You're very underrated, you just earned yourself a subscriber :)
about the riddles there's only one that kinda makes sense "i have always been odd" "remove my start and i am even" "when you finish this riddle" "i hope you are leaving" the only problem with this is that there are two awnsers "seven and eleven" and the first i guesse was 11
I feel like this is an AMAZING idea but, I don’t think it would be good with the vaults, and it would be weird to have 3 vaults where you only guess codes then have one like this, but I think something like this would be good for something like a “boss door” my Idea is you will find a door somewhere in one of the menus, after clicking on the door you will be taken to a platformer level called “the sewer” there will be different platformer levels taking place in the sewer in different boss rooms, but basically you will have to beat this level to get to the boss room, at the boss room it would be like your concept, but with a few changes, the boss will give you mana orbs if you guess one of the codes and if you click on certain things in this room you can get silver coins or mana orbs, the boss will have a code that will unlock the boss level, the boss level will be a platformer level where you fight someone maybe like rubrub or the demon guardian but once you beat the boss you will get a secret coin, feel free to add to my idea in the replies 🙂
this would be good i guess but it needs to change back to the font that gd uses + the soul could be switched to the icon that the player is currently using
I really like the ideas, i think it would make the vaults WAY MORE interesting. i have 2 things that i think should be added, but that were not really mentioned in the video: 1. Making the vaults related to the lore of the game, with the darkness and such, like some sort of story mode. It would be really interesting. 2. Quests. A bit like how you're supposed to get the master emblem to open the Chamber of Time. Basically, doing something else in the game, that the vaults will reward you, like "beat 15 platformer levels", and you will probably unlock a new level, an icon, or something related to the lore
I just learned now with your video that there are Riddles, when I got to the Vaults for the 1st time, I just went into a RU-vid video and got all the answers, I didn't even cared enough to click on the guards. xD
He made a video talking about something that hasn’t been said and people find interesting, he actually made it interesting, good editing, W opinions (the rewards are ass). This is just a good video.
IMO the chamber of time riddles are the only decent ones here because they are ACTUAL riddles. The rest are just random bs questions that even veteran riddlemasters would shake their heads on how those "riddles" were even made.
is that a video by the great "TroyPM" known for the hit level "one second hell"😱 My comment was not funny and I have changed a lot, I am NOT the same person I was 6 minutes ago
If we could talk with those vaults characters,i would love to talk to GlunFub since.. I like the character and also design is cool Although it's just the head
i think that your idea would be pretty tedious ngl. i feel like that there is no enjoyment that could potentially be had in the vaults. its sole purpose is to give achievements and icons. so make the journey to get those things as short and easy as possible.
I agree with you aside from the rewards. 1. Some people (I don't know any of them) surely like the rewards and use them. This is a hugely subjective matter so saying they all suck is not technically wrong, but it's an incomplete thought. 2. Rob makes a bunch of icons and not many of them are S or A tier icons. Heck, most of them I find are pretty awful! So making the vault's all A or S tier would be a bit weird. 3. The overall appeal for the vaults is for the people who enjoy collecting, not necessarily the ones who want good icons specifically. Considering the last two points, this one especially holds true. This section of your video is highly disagreeable for me since Rob just makes a bunch of icons and doesn't think too much on how people would like them, no matter what you have to do to get them. He makes them and the community does whatever they want with them. Also, if you followed the logic of unlocking the most popular icons by completing the harder achievements, not only would most of the community not have any good icons to choose from, but also the vault's rewards would be even more lackluster. The reward problem is much harder to fix than you might think.
