Using my own voice to narrate my own video, with my opinion, my own knowledge and my educational intention, in this educational series, I quickly show some tips for people to learn about the sport.
All the videos here represents my own knowledge, my personal opinion and my own view on the subject where I present my ideas illustrated in the form of video montages.This channel is entirely for EDUCATION about this sport. 100% of the idea is help people to learn about Artistic Gymnastics.

I think this is the only time Produnova landed this skill properly (1999 University Games); otherwise, she always took a deep squat. It would have been interesting to see how she would perform it using the current table. About the rest of the attempts, aside from the deep squat, Dipa seems to have better landing control but still not enough power.

@@Wrexham_AFCI mean, the judges aren't meant to do that, but it's Chusovitina. I think it's actually in the FIG handbook that if you don't love Chusovitina, you're a monster. And rightly so.

Just watched the 2011 World champs vault final where Pena landed on her back attempting this, so I am pleased to see she did actually land it here. Also didnt know Oksana had even attempted it! Produnova really was amazing at this - many other gymnasts get tons of height, but maybe it's just too risky? Do you know of any other gymnasts who have trained this skill?

Produnova is one of the most dangerous vaults in women’s gymnastics and very few women landed. Produnova is called the vault of death. That is vault can take risk and it is super dangerous to attempt or landing.

@@triffus The Produnova has been known as the vault of death for years due to its immense difficulty, especially as it was debuted on the old vaulting horse. That termed was not coined by the OP.

I think this is actually a harder vault than the Biles II because most gymnasts don’t like handspring entries

@@chooseyourpoison5105 It's ugly when the women do it. They haven't a decent block and don't generate enough power to make it around safely and cleanly.

Because no one has properly landed it in competition except Produnova in the green leotard. It remains an over two-decades isolated incident, and it remains to be seen whether it can be performed on the contemporary apparatus. The others clearly were not ready to treat theirs as competable, but their attempts always stir oversized discussions about it. I'd prefer to see athletes perfect more "attainable" vaults before taking on more than they can chew.

I think they're close enough to landing it to not put unnecessary risk on themselves (of course, the sport is never super safe). So I don't think it's more than they can chew. And I always like gymnasts pushing the possibilities, I'm glad people are going for exotic, hard stuff. Sure, the 1.5-2.5 twisted Yurchenkos are pretty, but they're SO common, especially for all around gymnasts, I love that people try to be different.
