Okay. So we're back with more Miraculous retrospectives. This time we have Puppeteer. Another classic, and this one was actually really good. I had fun with this one. Enjoy.
It’s funny (not really) how his character arc is about becoming more independent and not be controlled by others, only to have the narrative be completely against him
YEAH, I remember Cat Noir and ladybug fighting side by side in Bubbler, Heroes Day, Frightninggale, Sirene, Animeastro, etc. And then you have Clown Noir: Optigami: Just eating a cookie doing nothing Gamer 2.0, Lies: Sacrifices himself Dispear Bear, Princes Perfume, Puppettear, Dark Cupid: Mind controlled Finale: Not even being THERE
It's possible that the mistake happened several times. Although when he chooses to akumatize everyone when powered up, he choose the infant again, that's on the character/writing team on that one.
@@treasureboxgaming7109in s4 finale and Migration we saw he could choose people to akumstize and learn their inner secrets but gigantitan was an accident but then in were dad he did it on purpose
"Not the baby doll eyes, you know I can't say no to the baby doll eyes." And it's only *then* when Manon does the baby doll eyes. Yeah, give her the idea, why don't you.
Shouldn't kids of this age be throwing tantrums litterly every minute or even second, somewhere in Paris? Why is every Akuma somehow related to Marinette?
@@StillSomeone yes, there can be tons of them, don't forget the pigeon man got akumatized over 70 times, but that just makes it even more impossible that the first 5 seasons take place for 9 months. Is there several akumas a day? How do they even have time to focus on school?
Low key shame for Nadia for causing her daughter’s akumatization by accusing MANON FOR STEALING AND NOT LETTING HER OWN CHILD TALK! That was all on her!
@@Kymanbitch i think that’s stupid. I get where the mom is coming from but it wasn’t for her to keep. It would’ve been with her for a couple days max. If marinette was gonna babysit the next day even less.
Part 2: Say what you want, but Manon is one of the best villains that Hawkmoth akumatizes. We have seen time and time again that people still make their own decisions while under his control. This is a four year old and she is smart, cunning, and savy. The chess moves she created fighting Ladybug and Cat Noir just left me speechless. While she only had to choose people by the puppets she had, she was in luck due to their fighting proweress. Maybe except robo cop. Every time Puppeteer shows up, she almost wins. But you are right. Ladybug wins by luck. Lastly, her outfit is always one of my favorites. I love the neon blues and the highlights in her hair. It reminds me what someone her age would dress up in. 10/10.
The relationship between Marinette and Manon is very close to how I was with my little sister years ago. There's a big age gap between us but I remember she used to love it when I played with her and her Thomas the tank engine set. God she was a sadistic lil shit too, used to pretend the trains would crash and die. I was always the "ambulance" when one of her play sessions got too rough and she actually broke one of them.
Two 4th breaks in this episode: Marinette telling the stalker story and Alya questioning who she told it to Ladybug, after pausing everyone, whistling the theme song
This episode was very annoying for me because I too have a younger sister who constantly tried to get me in trouble 😂 but I also liked it cause season one was honestly a vibe
One thing that you mentioned made me realize something: Gabe is the smoothest of brains...and here's why. Ladybug immediately went for Lady Wi-Fi's phone because she knew that's where the akuma was previously. And, had this been the ACTUAL Lady Wi-Fi, she would have been right, because on MULTIPLE OCCASSIONS when Gabe re-akumatized someone, he OFTEN makes the akumatized object the exact same thing as it was the first time! There have only been two times where he actually had a decent thought and made the akumatized object something that was difficult to identify and that was in the episode, "Risk" and "Passion". What's more, I can't even give him credit for Passion, because that was all Nathalie! But, in Risk, he actually had his minion HIDE THE OBJECT! With how successful that strategy was, WHY DOESN'T HE DO THAT ALL THE TIME??!! Instead, he gives the heroes a hand and just runs it back exactly the same was as the first time, letting the good guys know exactly where the weak spot is. Ugh!! ...lame.
I always thought that the Akuma travels to the person that is nearest and is at most emotional vulnerability. That’s why in the Baby Akumatizing episode, the akuma travels from the other person to the baby
Gabe controls the akuma, but when the akuma lost the negative emotion, it lies in wait for another one to akumatized. The baby was a complete accident.
You gotta admit it unlike the time he akumatized a baby this was actually a good idea like yeah Gabe is utterly shameless for mentally attacking kids but if it wasn't for ladybug's plot armour he would have the jewels
Part 3: last one This goes to show that Marinette is Astruc’s prized creation and everyone can suck. Astruc, my guy. Let your writers do their job. Stop interfering and hating your characters. You have run Adrien and Cat Noir into the mud since season 1. This poor guy can’t catch a break. He dies not always make the best decisions, but he does not deserve to always be beaten up, thrown around (sometimes by Ladybug), or mind controlled. And this is before the stupid self sacrificing thing. You just want to kill him, do you? I feel Adrien/Cat Noir deserves to shine more.
I thought Manon’s Akumatized outfit was really cute. And yea…this episode highlights another reason why Gabe getting redemption was one of the worst decisions of the show. Been said a thousand times but, Gabe, who was a middle aged emotional PR*DATOR…frequently went after CHILDREN was able to be seen as a hero, but not a 14 year old girl with neglectful parents. Like…what does that say to the target/impressionable audience? Having neglectful parents are WAY more common then becoming a supervillain because their wife “died” (or whatever).
This episode is pretty good. But the foreshadowing of Marinette is able to do things without Cat Noir. Not enjoyable to see. Especially with how she failed by herself in the season 5 finale. Show writers inconsistenty! Ugh! It hurts!!!!
He constantly puts his son in harms way. And his I wont ackumatize my son when he's upset to oh now I can use him for my evil plans. Like not even to his own son dose he have standereds that he cares about.
Ok you just explained why I hated Marinette as the seasons went on. Because I am me, this will be a 3 parter. I understand how Manoon seems annoying, but the poor girl got whiplash in this episode. First, she was not being a sore loser. It is annoying when your babysitter that you love does not let you win ever. It must be exhausting always playing the villain in a pretend setting. If only her mom saw this, she would have defended Manon and gave Marinette a talking to. Her mom was just parenting her, I get that, but in Manon’s eyes, she never felt believed. For a four year old, it is difficult to explain yourself without whining. Manon should have not manipulated Marinette into having her toys and can see how her mom thought she was responsible for stealing them. But it must suck being called a liar when Marinette did decide to give them to her. No wonder she had temper tantrums. God, the whiplash they put her through.
You know, I just realized it makes no sense for Adrien to be at the metro- his father watches him like a hawk (ha ha), and barely lets him anywhere without his body guard and/or chauffer, why would he be allowed on the metro by himself? Did he sneak out? What for? Where is he going??
He sneaked out and purposely used the metro so he wouldn't be found. Haven't seen the episode in a while, but I think that before transforming Plague says something like 'and just when we managed to lose your bodyguard!' and the plan was to go to the movies.
I don't get why they keep trying to get chat noir out of the wlshow. I know they re trying to market to girls with the mostly female cast, but yk what else girls love. Hot fictional guys, and they're making a fool put of their main one
Hm, don’t like Manon, huh? That’s a shame, Personally, I’ve always been interested in her, felt like there’s been some potential that they never explored with her. I also feel like Puppeteer is a pretty fascinating Villain, so appreciate that they had her return.
I wonder if acumatized villains actually still exist inside their host when they lose their akuma they just lose their ability to outwardly manifest outside of their hosts mind , but if something like puppeteer's power comes along , they Akumtized persona in able to manifest again
I'm sorry but this man, with his miraculous has always had the power to mind control ladybug and cat noir remotely and basically get their miraculous instantly and he never tried doing that again??
@@janmarcocervantes1601 Yes he does. Theres many examples. Like when he gave Nathalie the power to boost his own powers or turned himself into the collector. Or when he turned himself into nighttormentor.
@@Player-oe7zuits based off emotions. Catylyst and Gabe wanted to be akumatized. Natilie was always his support so she gets an ability to support him and Gabriel wanted the book so he gets an ability based off making knowledge in his book
Its canon that Marinette made the dolls for Manon to play with when she babysits Manon. Also, I worked and babysat kids like Manon so how she was behaving and all is accurate 😂😂😅😅. And honestly when Hawk Moth was akumatizing Manon that was honestly terrifying cause the conversation they were having like 😬😬😬
3:27 emotions are not under his control he sometimes accidentally akumatize a baby + gabe will never go for a baby cause they usually have an iq of 0-1 soooooooooooo
The worst thing about this show is how stupid both ladybug and cat noir are instead of revealing their identities and work as a team making them fall into troubles all the time
