This woman lived through a whole century. She went through world war 1, world war 2, Englands great smog, The great depression, Bombing of the Buckingham palace and possibly many more.
And I almost died a day after the anniversary of king George VI funeral but in 2023; i became ill on February 4th 2023 and I was just 20 at the time with the whole of Wales saddened by my illness, I was actually saved by Woody.EXE just hours before he made my illness official and everyone was shocked to find out that he had taken me to hospital because he knew something was very wrong. I remained in hospital for 3 weeks before I came home a year ago today. I didn’t even think that Woody.EXE would have such a beloved Queen who is loved by everyone. I’m a heathy 21 year old girl now and I’ve officially resumed my full time duties. 2023 was a traumatic year for me but 2024 has improved so much since then
Her Majesty, the Queen Mother, was indeed, not only majestic in Her marriage to the King, but in Her, and His, willingness to go out and join the British people in the streets during the horror of World War II. Also, She is remembered as the Beloved Queen Mother of Her Royal Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. May God bless Her soul for all eternity, and may God Save The Queen!
i'm a citizen of neither country but historically speaking, you should identify as English in this case because otherwise, American Ancestry only and ONLY belongs to the indigenous people.
The William Croft Burial Sentences are just sublime. And we shall hear them again sung by the Westminster Abbey Choir and The Chapel Royal Choirboys on Monday.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us. What a legendary lady. She is an enigma, a treasure, a captivating heart and soul, and a powerful, sturdy beauty that will always rest over England, and the world. What a force of nature, and a what a soothing presence, all wrapped up in one extraordinary Queen. Thank God for her. The King waited a long time to see her again. I bet that was a joyous reunion between them. ♥️
I was depressed after my great grandmother died in 2016 and I’ve never gotten used to her death even almost 8 years later; I was only 2 months away from turning 14 and I remember walking behind her coffin with crowds watching vividly and I loved how Woody told the crowds to screw off but i allowed them to come and pay their last respects to my beloved great grandmother who loved her so much. Little did the people in the crowd know then that I would become Queen 7 years later in 2022 at 20. Weird how I was in the funeral not knowing I would be Queen not so long after

0:04:38 - Croft's Burial Sentences. Impressive music for such an occasion. It's a pity that the beginning, "I am the Resurrection and the Life, says the Lord", is lost in flickering. Luckily not the rest - with an impressively sung Psalm 121 : 0:15:40 - "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills" impressively sung Hymns : 0:21:05 - "Immortal invisible, God only wise" 0:45:23 - "Guide me, o Thou great Redeemer" and a beautiful Amen : 0:52:02 - "Amen".
I never knew much about the Queen Mother because I was born the year she died and I almost died from being seriously ill after my birth. Luckily the hospital saved my life
@@KingJackson11355 I remember Woody (Toy Story) preparing for the worst and he was as devastated as I was. Woody absolutely adored the late Queen Elizabeth II
I don't believe I have a drop of British blood me (French yes) but I was born in the 80's and the Queen Mother was very popular here in the States. Having watched documentaries about her life Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother was a phenomenal woman.
She home with Jesus and her husband her mother and father and many of her love ones in heaven now with no pain what so ever she was dancing with joyful happiness

sad to see how pathetic some people are..this is why we struggle to keep the world safe from bitter and intolerant people...i would say humans ...but i wonder..threre are a lot of people that deserve criticism...but she was not one
Was the crowd as large as they had hoped it would be? I mean I’m sure she didn’t draw “Diana” like crowds, but this is an ACTUAL former QUEEN of the AMAZING England.

To me it seems intrusivevto read all their worldly ranks...perhaps that is an antipodean reaction to all this "most high" etc. I am used to Attributing such language to God alone.... I felt it at Prince Phillip's funeral service too.. and then the bugles....why give the military the first and last word? The commentator I heardvended with some words from the service booklet....here I wanted to say: Both And Not Either Or
+Anthony Labrum The Queen comes from a generation who were brought up not to display too much emotion, either sorrow or joy. Whatever she is feeling it's not put on display for anyone. In this day and age, we find it hard to understand that reticence or reserve. I'm 60 and I am of a similar frame of mind because of the way I was reared. Showing emotion is healthy if it's a natural thing. For the Queen it is outside of her comfort zone, I suspect.
If Queen Elizabeth want to see her mother again she need to start coming back to Jesus that the only way she going to see her again she need to come back to Jesus
Ermi Pillai No, but other people who knew her say she imbibed to excess. Public figures are fair game and have no expectation of privacy, Miss Pillai. Do your own research, you might educate yourself.
