I have recently had an epiphany. City of Bones and The Lightning Thief are the same! Think about it: The main character has a hardworking mother whom they love very much, and their father has been out of the picture for the first portion of their life; the main character's mother is kidnapped (via a monster) by the antagonist (of that particular book); the main character is thrust into a secret world of killing monsters and demons, which the world is, apparently, filled to the brim with; the main character meets an attractive blonde that has memorable eyes and has trained from a young age in this secret monster-killing world; and the main character has a dorky best friend.

When you talked about reading Harry Potter, it brought me back to a date I went on earlier this year. Me: So, you know in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows -- The guy we will call Joe: I've never read Harry Potter. Me: What? Joe: Never read Harry Potter Me: *sets down the fork* But...umm....you've seen the movies right? Joe: No. Me: *trying to remain calm* Have you read the Hunger Games? Joe: No Me: Mortal Instruments? Joe: What's that? Me: I don't think this is going to work out. The rest of the date was awkward silence.
I was so scared for on top of that very high chair! I'm hoping it's the kitchen table chairs and not the swirly ones! Your bookshelf is my fave! Stellar job on the rainbow! Instead of the skittles tagine, "taste the rainbow," you could do, "read the rainbow!" LOL
I LOVEEE how you talk about each book, and have funny little comments after certain ones. It makes it so much more fun to watch than if you just hold up a book and say the title and the author's name. Your bookshelf tours are my favorite
In one of her videos she says she didn't review it because she read it during Playlist Live and since she likes to review books after she reads them and she was busy with Playlist stuff there wasn't a review, also she lost the book jacket.

I order like this on my four shelfs 1:Fantasy shelf: fairies, dragons, mermaids. A whole vampire section amd then a section for mixed books( shadow falls) 2: first part: all rick riordan books, coordinated by titles, genre, all cassandra clare books Second part: classics, diaries, dictionarys 3.girlie? In order: thinkie books( much john green, stephen chbosky), love stories, funny love stories, funny books, childhood books( mainly dork diaries) and then the fairytale section aka retellings and my selection books are there to because they didn't fit into there section anymore. 4: future books( ya know how the future looks lots of divergent, the 100 etc Other world section followed by a proud section I call: shit gets done while stuffs still happening. Basically its heroes saving the world while the muggels have no clue whats going on. M instruments and r riordan books technically count, but no space And then there is my proudest section Harry potter!!! The best ever

You know christine, they invented this really great thing called bookends, they are especially made to keep your books from falling 😜 if you have, say, an open ended bookshelf 😝 great video! I loved it :D
You should make a video called back to basics where you explain books that people should read before diving into booktube, Harry potter, Divergent, The hunger games, Cassandra clares books, Vampire academy, Percy jackson ect. I could probably list a lot more but who has the time?
Christine, I regret to inform you that only the first three books of Skulduggery Pleasant are out in America because no one bought them because the American covers sucked and Derek Landy was like "welp, I don't sell well there, let's wait for the movie to drive up hype." He still hasn't announced anything about the movie. But it's my favourite series ever and you should definitely read it. Book 6 is perfection. Book 9 is slightly less perfect but still perfection. I wouldn't give any of them less than an 8.5/10.

I SEE SKULDUGGERY PLEASANT. It's honestly such a great series, I grew up with it and I still go back and reread them whenever I feel nostalgic for them.
I actually watch these so I can add more books to my list to read so I know it was hard and long to go through all of those books but I really appreciate it!
