In this video I will share a fantastic recipe of a buckwheat porridge! This recipe is raw, vegan, glutenfree and its perfect for breakfast, lunch, snack or whenever you want!
Ingredientslist swedish & english meassurements: 3 dl bovete/ 1,25 cup buckwheat, 3 msk kokossmör/ 2 tbsp coconutbutter, 5-6 färska dadlar/ 5-6 fresh dates, 2 selleristjälkar/ 2 celerystalks, ett par msk vatten/ a few tbsp water

Longer soakingtime is prefered but yes buckwheat is edible after 3 hours soaking and then rinsed well in lukewarm water :)

I love buckwheat porridge ^^ it's my fav. breakfast in the morning with 1 banana, cinnamon 2 dryed figs 👍 or frozen blueberrys..

Amazing idea!! I sprout buckwheat a lot and usually eat in salads on raw days but i cannot wait to get a good food processor to make it into recipes like this, i always sprout it, the first time i used it i followed instructions to soak for less t8me and found it to be much more mucous producing and starchy but as you show here it can be great in emergency to only soak 3 hours~

Is it hard on the stomach to eat raw buckwheat? Also I might prefer to eat it warm. How do recommend warming it? Perhaps with a little milk over the stove? Thank you. I love buckwheat but don't know many ways to cook it so I appreciate this video.

I feel buckwheat when its raw is easier to digest than cooked, and raw buckwheat porridge feels very soothing and smooth on my digestion, but everyone is different. Try small amount to start and see how you feel :)

I have filtered water, sometimes I soak in tapwater because Iam lazy but in a perfect world I have filtered water there too. But I rinse it under the tap.

Will it be very dry if you don't put coconutoil in it? I would like it fatfree

Its coconutbutter I used, not oil. The fat makes the porridge smoothier and creamier, without fat its not as creamy and smooth and doesnt jave have delicious rich flavor. But yes it works without it even if the result will not be the same. The porridge is not dry since you out in water in the end until you reach the texture you like. But for this recipe if you skip coconutbutter or make it fatfree I recommend you to using tigernutmilk or oatmilk indtead of water to get some richness.
