J cole just dropped a diss track on kendrick titled 7 minute drill, but the song is only 3 minutes long.. so whats with the name? #shorts #jcole #kendricklamar
That’s what I’m saying. He didn’t even mention cole fr. He was shooting directly at drake and cole got hit in the process, just like control. And the wild part to me is I been telling niggas since he dropped, k dot always drops a diss record befor his album so people can talk about him after he’s been Mia for years. It’s typical. Cole going crazy
@@tobiasalexander8179don’t do him like that😂, I smiled when I heard he apologized and understood before actually hearing the apology it can turn into mixtape Cole dropping diss after diss and it’ll take away from what he be on being direct with Kendrick. Let’s be fr isn’t like they went absolutely disgusting with disrespectful battle rap bars
A 7 minute drill is also military jargon for a brief meeting to discuss the importance of a proposed meeting in the future. If the leaders aren’t swayed by the drill, the larger meeting won’t happen, so as not to waste the regiment’s time on a useless longer presentation. Basically, “You tell me why I should waste my time on you.” That’s what Cole’s saying
@@livelovelife5791 Kendrick swung first. When you swing first it really only has to be one line at the most. The person who is dissed is responsible for dropping a real response, then the initiator claps back after that. But it looks like Cole is already bowing out, so Kendrick will return fire and then it's an L for Cole regardless.
@@alexmvone349Em & Wayne can do it... 🤷🏽♂️ Cole ain't Wayne or Slim but it's possible someone in his caliber. Future, Travis, the rest I highly doubt it but lyricists can do it easy... No Cap
@@alexmvone349I’m sorry, are you an artist? You been making music as long as them? Sold records? Simply because you can’t comprehend on their level of thinking when it comes to music, don’t mean niggas can’t write a whole song within a certain amount of minutes. Em’s Killshot is a prime example.
That's the whole point. He wasn't the main target of Kendrick's diss track. Cole doesn't want to go to war if he can avoid it but is saying that he's ready if that's what Kdot wants. He's trying to big brother him. Let's take it down a notch or Try me if you dare type of energy.
@@ngoctruongpaulnguyen6503 sounds like copium, especially when he straight up lies about Kendrick's discography on top of it. He channeled Jay z poorly and supplemented them weakly and for some reason people are scared to admit that
@@EmmanuelAniTheSchism hey. I mean that might be what Cole believes. I don't know I loved all of Kendrick's albums even the last one even though it's weird and probably not an album the streets rock with. The world's most favorite drink and drug is coffee. All of my community might hate coffee and prefer tea. Does that make coffee being terrible a lie? Maybe but that might be his paradigm.
@@ngoctruongpaulnguyen6503 that example would work if not for the objective fact that more people believe in Kendrick's Discography over Cole's, to the point where the gap is vast. Cole gets the opportunity of believing it because he is an artist in his own right, but the consensus -and critique - are always out of the artist's hands once the work is released
@ngoctruongpaulnguyen6503 besides while critics have tpab as one of the best of all time ik plenty (as well as myself kinda) that thinks it's gassed up so he is totally out of pocket when he said it wasnt as good as people claim.
nah he literally tests himself so it just shows that track was more of a freestyle and nothing crazy nothing more than a way to practice but also letting kdot know shit not sweet😂😂😂😂
Lol y'all talk about glazing j Cole while yall kendrick fans saying kendrick clears j Cole but all ken says is he's the best and the rest is a jab to drake
Game over.. he apologized.. on stage, said it’s “messing with his spirit” highly disappointing, this was supposed to breathe some fresh air into rap music & now we apologizing ??? Cmon Jermaine
@@MikeyMooksand yet, it's not a performance. Real is the new rap which J Cole is pioneering. Beef culture is dying. Rap was built on pop adjacent music too but it's grown far beyond it's humble beginnings. Don't try and hold back it's growth for false nostalgia.
@@AndrewGiles688 I hear what you’re saying. I’m not saying beef is what’s in the cards here anyway. There’s no beef, no chance of violence or anything like that. Just guys being competitive, Cole said he’s Muhammad Ali, stand on that.. prove it, don’t apologize for punching back. Keep the competitive spirit alive, just like Wayne saying he’s the best rapper alive & back then everyone was freaking out. It’s a part of rap to think you’re better than everyone else, if not, then what’s the point ? If you’re making fun, party rap music that’s one thing. But nah man Cole is an mc, Drake makes pop & r&b record too but when it’s time to rap he’s an mc. It’s deeper than it being about “beef”. It’s about the competitive nature of the culture.
@@MikeyMooksI think these rappers are realizing that the competitive nature of the culture isn’t really what they actually want I mean you can see that Kendrick’s family life is way more important to him than dissing drake on euphoria and that’s why he didn’t go after Cole as much because he apologized and he doesn’t want to create competitiveness for no reason when they love each other. The sad thing is is that you can’t have a “friendly competitiveness” because that’s just not how the human brain was wired to work and that’s why Cole stepped back
@@sumedhmissing3479it was a diss I don't hate the diss track, because kendricks is just as underwhelming as jcoles but still, it was a diss, a light diss, but still a diss
Kendrick gonna write a song in one go in a minute and call it “cordless drill”. It’ll just be him going ham on him with no chords at all and still make sense
The beat was ass (1st half), bars was weak “fell off like the simpsons”, his energy is weak, he makes stupid points like “he fell off” he has more monthly streams than you buddy and tpab is better than anything you ever released
He titled it a 7 minute drill because the length of the track is around three and a half minutes, So you gotta listen to it twice (at least) to understand Cole's bars 🔥
@@32123ABCBA a warning is weak lol. Like if police warn me instead of a ticket. Ur being slow. All kendrick said was light pack and big me. Cole said 1 hot verse err 30, he's as small as a fly, and YALL ONLY TALKING BOUT HIM CUZ HE DISSED!! All facts. Kendrick just make believed some ish with a gun lol. Stop it
Writing versus in 7min and it has substance is impressive af!!!! An gone lie this is good to bring kdot out more and i think that's why kendrick diss for motivation from them
@@brandonpollard8928 I don't need to know prince songs it didn't say prince was better it said he out lived him like he died last AK says drake's days are numbered learn how to read bars and he had more shoots fired that where shocking j Cole just sayung his better with nothing to back it also calling Kendricks best albums trash when we all know H.T.P.AB AND Good kid mad city where classics with no facts his just slaty and even in black Friday the song they did together Kendrick bodied j Cole just stop 🛑
@@adriangarcia3070 Kendrick is a shock value rapper and y'all have eaten it up, shits so boring it gets played out in weeks, so you stop listening for a while then go back and listen to him and get that Shock again and go "he's the best" BRO pump out some shit and let see how "bEsT" you can stay. They would do him the samething they did to Eminem, the Best Best!!
@@lilra1nyNah fuck that Kendrick literally cooked them both with just a feature verse. Cole had 3 minutes to make a banger and he choose to make weak shit. Warning or not the song is still underwhelming
