nobody talking about how the ACTUAL douchiest part of this video is when Hunter says the app had over 4 million users and Cody just casually goes "oh really? i forgot."
To me it seems that one of the most important factors in Cody's success is that he genuinely enjoys it, and creates stuff with friends. Good for you Cody!
im impressed. not only reacting to yourself , but reacting to yourself while wearing ur merch. what a guy edit: this was a genuine compliment dont come for me
@@DanielFlores-gx7xi first of all.. someone ruined it .. 667 is mathematically nicer, but in any other way .. ufffffffffffff :X my S/O i already know so i don't have to guess - but i think she is probably the 666 in our 1221 .. unless you meant 'you're' - in which case you would be right :D or did you mean 'shout out' by s/o? the internetz is complicated these days :o
@@gregothy9190 frfr just dawned on me how much he's probably pulling in from everything and once they can do live shows again that's just another huge venture to add. Who knows maybe start performing their music and touring, I'd go to that. Damn what an inspiration.
This video is just one example of why Cody has such a loyal fanbase - He actually takes time to engage with fans despite his millions of subscribers and BILLIONS of dollars
Hahahahaha I love that Cody was like “HOW DO I MAKE MY SHOT LOOK LIKE THAT” while one of the videos I can see on Hunters homepage is literally a tutorial on lighting your videos lmaooo
by the amount of times Cody ~frictionlessly~ looks around the camera like it’s constantly going to fall, in a SINGULAR video. i can just tell that there is a massive pile of books with the camera balancing on top of it. lmaoooooooo had to throw in a quick lmao Cody loves a good lmao lmaoooooooooo
the thing is cody ko is very successful but he doesn’t throw it in people’s faces and he’s not cocky about it. he’s still as funny as he was on vine. honestly funnier.
I like the Cody is honest and humble. It’s rare to see genuine humbleness because people feel like they can’t recognize their success without bragging but I feel like Cody does it well
It's not douchey to react to this! It's refreshing to see you acknowledge your success and the wealth that came from that. As your audience, we see how hard you work. I've been following your journey since your vine days, and I know you deserve it all! Congrats on everything :)
Yeah, it would be really fake to pretend he is not successful. He obviously is. He just does a good job keeping himself and his content grounded. It keeps his stuff fun and interesting, and because of that people will not begrudge him his success. The product is good, he is not trying to scam anyone, and he has not lost sight of what his audience wants. The contrast between his content and a lot of the "look how rich I am" creators is pretty stark. They devolve into being defined by their wealth, and that seems like brain poison to a lot of young people.
Something about Cody makes me just want to watch ANYTHING he does. I usually don't watch every single video of the channels I subscribed to, but with Cody I can watch every video AND the replayability is insane.
@@plab1151 Definitely watch all of his that’s cringe series. I have watched them multiple times even until now they are so good. His 2nd channel is also worth to watch
Cody is so humble I’ve been around since 2016 and i remember that starting the Patreon podcast was Cody’s idea so Noel didn’t have to take coding jobs he hated to get by. And it was also Cody’s idea to start making music and Noel was hesitant to do it because rapping was in his past at the time. And he gave Noel equal credit in this video and said “we” instead of i 😭
I'll never know how Cody and people like him keep up with everything... and like how are they this chill and funny when they're spinning so many plates?? It's very admirable. And how is there enough time in the day to do it all and still get enough sleep? I have a quiet life with an average job and most days even I feel like there's never enough hours in a day lol
@@DigitalHeliumJumper yeah I know they delegate a lot of the grunt work, but how do you fit it all in your brain lool, I guess this is why they have big brain.
the main thing that this dude said that I agree with is that cody is so honest and just genuine, which I think is very hard to come by these days, especially on platforms like this
Hunter: “In 2017, Cody and Noel would start a series that would take over RU-vid and change their lives forever.” Me: Love Island Cody: “Welcome back to That’s Cringe” Me: Yup, Love Island
He’s using a low f stop and really good lighting plus he’s most likely shooting in a picture profile (makes the colors appear grey) it allows you to do allot more when it comes to color correction. He might be doing more but those are the main things.
it looks like cody uses a low f stop too, since his background is blurry, so yeah I think he's focusing too much on the camera and lens when it's really changing the lighting and color correction lmao
i’m laughing at the fact that cody wants to know how to get his lighting to look as good as hunter’s when hunter literally has a video about that on his channel
dude seeing this side of cody literally just made me smile idk why it just feels like my older cousin is super successful and all his worked paid off and i'm over here like "yes bitch own that shit"
You are one of the most humble, down to earth kind of youtuber I watch. You haven't let fame or money change you for the worst, you've grown and adapted with it and it's so admirable to see that you are well... still you!
Been watching Cody and Noel for years. The content is still just as chef’s kiss as it was before. I feel like even as my tastes have evolved they’ve just seem to always nail it!!
Seriously he tries to play it off but there’s just zero need to make a video about how rich you are. Either explain and educate ppl or do another Cut commentary. Sick of this kid
All jokes aside this makes me feel so proud of cody like wtf he is succeding in everything he is into while still connecting to us thru his videos and the podcast, this man was truly born for this :,)
