The REAL Reason Why KPOP Idols Don't Follow Each Other on Instagram 

It’s stupid that idols get hate for following other people, like V, when he followed Jennie and T.O.P. accidentally, they both got so much hate! If they’re friends then they should be able, like Jennie and Nayeon are friends, it would be fun for them to follow each other!

I wish all Kpop idols should come together and just follow a bunch of other people one day. If everyone is doing it would be less likely to get hat from people and would help desensitize this toxic situation

everyone talk about the hate jennie and top got because taehyung followed them by mistake but no one talks about the hate taehyung got for the same reason, people even brought up his grandma and family members and threatened them

The attack on Jennie when V followed her by mistake scared me so bad !! it’s make me wander what the fake fan will do when he have girlfriend or when he get married…so scary I hate the FAKE fan 💔💀

i'm new to kpop and all this (unwarranted) jealousy and hate is absolutely ridiculous and is one of the things why i couldn't get into it earlier. it's very unhealthy that young fans make such an insanely big deal out of minor actions, idols really need to watch their every move to not upset their or another group's fans. netizens should keep in mind that idols are adults with their own free will, not "babies" or whatever they call them. just let them live ffs

NCT was a humorous unit group whose members were all chaotic and free to express themselves. Finally, we all know their personalities. NCT is more than a diamond value outcome; I adore these guys, and NCTzens are hilarious like hell. LOL

I think Jennie gets more hate then V

I know they have hidden follows because Yuqi once accidentally friended another idol outside her group on her main follows, only to realize what she done an hour later and suddenly that person was gone. I think I heard something similar with Lisa. You know a lot of them are in contact privately because occasionally things will slip where you'll learn that they are in a group chat or talking on the phone with each other. Plus randomly you'll have pairings you never thought of suddenly spotted hanging out in public. So I think a lot of idol friendships are hidden because of privacy, company rules, and brand deals.

Only in kpop is this made to be such a big deal, idols afraid to interact & follow each other on social media this is mainly due to fanwars and the toxic, jealous fans that exist. Also, they probably worry they will lose their fans support. The hate V got for following T.O.P & Jennie, whether intentionally or accidentally, it doesn't matter and then apologising for it was just ridiculous. Idols be free to follow who the hell they want. Fans know your limits and boundaries, you don't own or control their lives, who they associate with is never your business.

The fans who were sad TOP didn't die with his previous suicide attempt was disgusting.

Bruhhhh, idols poop and love and cry and everything we else commoners do, people shouldn't make a big deal of an Instagram follow. It's plain stupid and whoever even thinks bad of the whole situation is the one that's messed up and nasty

Fans can’t seem to understand that idols are humans, not just some flesh and bones made to entertain you. Idols should be able to follow who they want when they want. Remember, idols are human, so treat them like humans not objects.

I wish fans would grow up and realize that their idols are humans who needs friends outside their group. I wish idols would grow balls and follow whoever they want on social media. But this is just wishful thinking because in truth, some fans are toxic and petty minded while idols are too scared to lose their popularity so they let their fans dictate how to live their lives.

i literaly love when fandoms joke abt this kind of things, it gives me hope that there are still non-toxic fandoms in kpop
