I haven’t gotten my CDL yet, but I already know the company that I’m looking forward to when I obtain it. NDCP - it’s tough freight, hourly, starting out at $34.69 per hour. Right now I drive step vans for Amazon. I average between 22,000 - 27,000 steps a day. I burned 2,067 calories with 26,000 plus steps. My route has a lot of business, and schools mixed with residential. I’m working out everyday. I hit 30,000 steps walking my dog with work… I don’t like being sedentary. Glad you’re back!
I think touch freight is a better option for people who don’t mind physical work like don’t get me wrong touch freight can get on your nerves but I do like the aspect of not having to drive all day for long stretched out times and you look at your gps and it says 197 miles straight shot until you exit off just to go another 98 miles I get tired of the long distance so I like short distance trips and just unload you can even sleep at some of the unloading stores and leave early in the morning had a hole parking lot 🅿️ to yourself just be mindful of your surroundings and lock your doors always

This is my last week with Family Dollar, then I'm going on a dedicated route. Did it almost 6 months. Loved the exercise! As a ex farmer and ex Marine, I was looking forward to the challenge. I got my muscle back, but unfortunately at 55, I'm getting really arthritic. Thought I had a few years of hard labor left in me, but it turned out to be just a months, although I met 2 guys about 60 who've been doing it for 15 years. But yeah, if you're younger, go for it. Sky's the limit!💰💰💰
Nice!! Glad you was able to get something in still. It’s def great work but like you said, it’s really painful on the body. This isn’t a long term job at all. Gotta get in and out
