Super results! Really been enjoying your videos since I found the channel recently. Little difficult to see what you're doing on the models sometimes, but the narration is excellent and the photos at the end speak for themselves :)

Nice work! I've tried spraying a few contrast paints with the airbrush and while it gives a really vibrant colour, I can't say I liked the end result. Might be because of the paint/s used tbh^^

@@GRGMiniatures Well, my biggest issue was that the paint sprayed wasn't the colour you end up with, as if you use a brush. If that makes sense? For example, I used 1 of the skin colours for a Lovecraft monster and it ended up looking like an Ent with tentacles^^ Now! To be fully honest, that tree brown, is exactly the tone that the contrast paint has, in the bottle. So I guess my biggest issue is that you do get the colour the bottle has, not the colour the contrast paint "should" be?

Really like your content GRG :) However I'm always, unconsciously, moving my head around trying to see what you're doing, I know camera rigging is particularly difficult with mini painting but if you could play around with it and see if you could find a sweeter spot it would be infinitely appreciated!

Thanks so much for the feedback, I genuinely appreciate it. My issue at the minute is space - my hobby space isn’t much bigger than a big cupboard, and that’s what really makes filming difficult. That said, I should definitely try to find a way of making it work, because even I think the shots are lacking. Thanks for the support!

You're using white spirits for the oil wash thinning? Or are you using water soluble oils?

White spirits. I’ve never used water soluble oils, so this is completely 100% unfounded nonsense but….I don’t trust ‘em 😂

Wait a second. Do you put OIL WASHES and clean away WIHTOUT varnishing? I'd imagine all that Army Painter Speedpaint would come right off. Anyway, awesome video!

Thank you! I went fairly gently, so no problem with lifting the paints, but doesn’t hurt to varnish if you’re worried :)
