Great vid, I agree with this. Especially the trickle down effect the euros/Copa America doesn't finish til sunday. Expect more business to be done over the next week or 2. The only thing I would say is we can't wait til the end of the window to bring in the positions where we are light.

Great content Locky - videos are always insightful, although I think the club fully intends to keep the trio of Gnonto/Summerville/Rutter, and any delays in purchases are purely technical to get the better price. For me, I genuinely think the 49ers feel they can keep Gnonto/Summerville/Rutter and only sell those who want to leave. Selling Gray and the Red Bull Sponsorship have helped resolve issues around FFP this immediate year. The club needs to replace Archie as both RB and CDM but I think the returning Wober, Kristensen, and Aaronson will help cover the departing Cooper, Cresswell, Ayling, Shackleton, and Anthony. So don't expect many signings as the club will not overstock on players as they cannot afford additional wages with FFP restraints - so for any fans who don't want to see Max, Rasmas, and Brenden -they need to be sold before you get a shiny new replacement. in short - not a lot of actively because we don't need many players right now, like I say right-back and centre-mid are musts but the club will likely have their eye on prem players who may come available on loan or transfer but its too early to say who is available.

Thanks Locky, Unfortunately we have to wait until the premier league teams have had their pick of the better players, that's life in the lower leagues. Our woes are compounded by the fact that the premier league teams picks are more likely to be late in the transfer window, which leaves lower teams up shit creek as far as getting replacements. As a Championship side we get to pick over the carcass left after the big boys have had their fill. As Leeds are a top Championship club I'm optimistic that we will get some players of caliber in before the transfer window closes. MOT

One thing you didnt mention in the thinking process of potential incomers is, as well as the "will I start as you already have X in that position", is the knowledge they will already have that Farke does not rotate, and is so late with his subs that they only get minimal minutes, and so they will see even less opportunity of getting time on the pitch. If it was Ipswich approaching them for example, then they know that Ipswich play with more squad rotation and early subs and often 16 players will get 30 minutes or more and they would see that set up as a better opportunity of playing

I am good how are you? I think especially at Leeds the trust in ownership takes more than a season to build. Transfers were hit and miss in an admittedly difficult start to the season, Spence, Darlow, Anthony, Piroe (jury still out on). Having sold Archie it feels like anyone can be for sale and it is only our belief about getting a fair price that remains. Under previous ownership things seemed to be going okay and then it all went pearshaped with managers and players. They spent way over the odds for what turned out to be average european players with no belief in our club whatsoever. So it remains to be seen if the current ownership can attract players at this stage to even replace what we have already sold. Having sold so many will we look desperate as time goes on? The red bull money doesnt seem to have made any difference? We march on despite a very difficult history!

Other sides faced with the same issues have signed a dozen of our players. And I doubt dozens of teams wanted Gruev or Kamara last season. It doesn't work like that. And we have a list of players, not just one in each area. When you do buy, it happens quite quickly. And it'll happen quickly this year too. There'll be a name and three days later, we'll have signed him. Because all the "links" are bullshit. All the "races" for players are nonsense. We are probably just waiting to see who we're losing before we pull the trigger on players.

I get the PSR and FFP play a role there’s players on a free like rodak and Boddy B Reid which would boost the ranks . Leeds need to move quickly with a Rb and a LB now Archie n Charlie have gone. Harrison burrows at Peterborough is a left back won’t cost loads. Roberts at Burnley as a RB or Trai Hume at Sunderland.
