You know, now that I think about it, I haven’t seen a honeybee in quite a while. Of course I live in Florida. They’re probably smart enough to stay somewhere where it’s not 400°.

It will come back to bite us all in the butt eventually, we need bees.

Thanks! Bees don't usually bother me (although I do flail around like a maniac when confronted by a wasp), but I'd make an exception in this case...

@@dark_night_tales I have a soft spot for bumble bees, but I try to resist the urge to flail or swat at wasps, they're usually mean lil mofos, but I've read that they can actually recognize you! Fun lil side story: we had this one boring wasp or SOMETHING similar that would always harass my twin brother on a back/side access ramp to a back door at my grandmother's house, but would ALWAYS leave my grandmother and I alone - 100% would essentially try to "square up" to my brother and do circles and just stop and hover near him like daring him to do something 🤣 I didn't believe it until I saw it happen because I took my grandmother up and down that ramp every few days or more and we never ever had any kind of issue. Never tried to sting or attack any of us but it was so bizarre. Best we can figure is he swatted or killed another from the colony or SOMETHING. Or it was attracted to something on or in him 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ More than a decade later I try to be polite to the lil mofos and the ones that keep trying to rebuild a nest on our balcony have never bothered me. They don't even harass me when I go out on the balcony, even if I sit under their nest. I spray it and knock it down after every season to be safe, but I can comfortably say from my own experiences even on trails they generally match whatever they're given. Of course that didn't help my brother when we were tykes and there was a quiet nest under a seesaw we were on... Quite unfortunate for him 😱

@@TimelessEssence13 Wasps are just mean and spiteful things. I've also read that they can remember people and recognize them, which coincides with your story.
