When he mentioned a tall creature with glowing eyes standing on 2 legs, I thought Sasquatch. It was still nice to hear more info on Wendigos though.

This is a nightmare scenario. And it seems that the wendigo left the bear on purpose on the road. It probably hungered for human flesh because logical speaking a big bear makes a far bigger meal than a human, in comparison.

According to the story, a big part of the wendigo legend had to do with the psychological impact it had on its victims before finally finishing them, so this makes sense...

The only part I don’t quite understand is how a person would be hallucinating from lack of food when doing without only for 24 hours. Lol. Otherwise it was very interesting!

Yeah he$$ nah! That brown bear carcass and I would be going toe to toe. Knowing the bear was disemboweled already, i would have gotten a knife and started to empty the poor bear out. After awhile you should be able to drive over it. No way I would make my doggo go through another scary night.

When I first listened to the story I remember thinking this guy's got some damn good friends, I've got blood family that I'm almost positive would abandon me 🤣 so I was impressed with his dog and his friends. I'd go back too, he deserves a mercy kill so he doesn't have to keep on living like that. He was noble to sacrifice himself like he did, he deserves to be given peace...
