it's sad that those who didn't answer him were those that had loosen all humanity product of the corruption and that aatrox has seen how all of them have slowly disapeared. That's why he said "I will speak for us both, old friend" to Ibaaros. But it's more sad that the corruption isn't over as some darkins as Joral are very close to loosing his mind completely because of the corruption

No wonder Aatrox is mad in League. Tons of Darkins are his friends and comrades, and he is stuck with a Leeory Jenkins like Rhaast, two gays not two as Vaarus, and a furry Naafiri. Top it off with Xolaani and he'd be stuck with the worst of the bunch lmao.
from what ive gathered, his emprisonment was botched since he was the first to be subdued due to his immense power i have 2 theories as to how this made it worse for Aatrox the botched Emprisonment caused him to feel his biological needs, Breathing, seeing, touch, his senses, all blanked, as is said in his bio he felt as if he was suffocating yet could not breathe no matter how hard he tries or 2, he was aware of how much time has passed, each second he remembers unlike the other darkins who seem to be in a stasis in their Emprisonment
@@northernalpine4350 i saw somewhere that the original darkin weapons that the twilight made could not be corrupted or something but the ones the mortals made were flawed so they possess whoever touches it (I can’t remember where I saw this so do take it with a grain of salt)
Imo Aatrox has one of the saddest backstories. He was improsoned as a weapon, focred to stay in the dark for decades at a time, until some foolish kid picks him up and Aatrocx takes possesion, even though the host will run out of energy to sustain him, and he will be forced back into just a weapon. All Aatrox wants is to finally die, to be free of the infinite curse of life. Note: I am not a huge consumer of LoL and LoR lore, so I apologize if I got some facts wrong
well, the hosts canoncally die and the darkin can fully take control of the body (Doesn't matter what shape or form this body is) it will never run out of energy, but their body depends on how much power or how flexible you can be (iirc) as example, rhaast is very happy to get kayn's body when you transform into rhaast in game, while naafiri is disappointed because her host is a dune hound which is unfit for an ascended demi god, but i guess she's still happy because she's set free
@@motafu1 Aatrox actually bends and contorts his hosts so badly that he burns them out and needs to keep taking on new vessels to keep going, it's why Tryndamere still has a connection to him. Aatrox wants to leave him with some darkin corruption to return to if his body ever gives out. He's fucking massive because he keeps absorbing blood and carrion and just slurping it into himself and making more biomass. Naafiri is not unhappy about her hosts, since she can basically have immortality by consistently making more and more for all of eternity. She basically wants to take over the world similar to the void, her single mind being a hivemind that controls dunehounds that consume all they can.
Imagine if xolaani will be released, she will have an ability to control an enemy and fight its allies, then make them explode if ever she got bored of playing them 😂

I never understood some of the communities compalints about Bel'Veth not being a monster for having a human. Most of the Darkin have human faces but are called monsters. It makes no sense.
Because most the darkin aren't primarily sold out as "dommy mommy by day , dommy squid by night" with a shoehorned forced need to use a feminine appeal with the face , dakins are humans that lost / are losing humanity , belveth is but a humanoid entity seeking to be perceived as a"monster"
Darkins are literally humans that are slowly losing their humanity, Bel'veths design would have been fine for a darkin. The issue is she is supposed to be the incarnation of the void, a plane completely alien to the human mind. Vel'koz and Cho'gath are good void designs. Bel'veth and Kai'sa are stupid designs trying to make alien monsters "relatable" to the player and a good source for skin milking...
