I’m the proud original owner of a 91 gt convertible. For many years, I had a similar set up with my stock block. Although you would hear the whistle from the blower only at idle or low rpm cruising, the sound was an attention getter to say the least!! And, with my 3.73 gears and my 3K stall converter, my car was crazy fast!

That is awesome I cannot wait for Matt to tune my car hopefully this weekend weather permitting👊🏻

Sounds great man! Love the Vortech blowers and have used them for years. I will say that you have to crank down on that belt after a few drives. The belt stretches more then you would think. Good luck with it and hope to see some more boost out of that thing🤗🔥🔥🔥

Sounds good and looks good. I appreciate all of your videos. They have guided me in making some decisions with my Foxbody. I have a 93 Vert and it sits at 99,900 miles right now. I am having the engine pulled and have lots of old school mods I am going to throw at it. The engine is going to have a full refresh and putting 3.73 gears in the rear. I have the shorty BBK headers equal length like you have. I was able to acquire an upper Cobra intake and GT40 lower, the same ones that would have been available in the Ford parts magazine of the era. I also have a set of Edlebrock aluminum heads and a Ford E-cam that is getting put in. Going with a black and silver theme for the engine with some pretty cool Slant cut Ford valve covers. It’s going to be sick. I also like this video because I was unaware that Vortech made a V3 Heritage model that has the old supercharger whine. This mod will be definetly on my list in the years to come. I will have the engine setup for this mod in the future with the upgrade to a 70mm throttle body, MAF etc. Keep up the good work.

Yes, if the IAC adaptive puts the IAC idle duty cycle toward the end limits (min/max) car will not idle with the bypass not setup right/blown open/vac leaking. A lot gets messed up (tip in, idle air, timing). Also once you get the hoses setup up right: reset the KAM memory on the QH (or disconnect batt for 20+min). Only way for the IAC to re-adapt properly.

Sir, this is one nice car. The first time I seen this car or should I say heard it was when you back it in at a hotel at the LMR Cruise In Texas Motor Speedway. I fell in love with the sound look etc.

I was one of the first ones to get the S to Si upgrade years ago on my old Vortech V1, it was a great deal. I believe I paid $370? This was probably 14yrs ago.

Really do Appreciate the videos in fact I really like your red mustang the best I have really wanting to build a SN95 mustang with a Ford explorer motor and throw in a b303 cam!! With a supercharger!! Used to have a 78 Cobra 2 mustang with a 302 3 speed automatic with a Holly 750 double pumper carb and long tube hooker headers!! Really do miss my 78 cobra!! It was a blast to drive!! Hard times is why I don't have it!! But the SN95 will be my redemption mustang!! Which it will mean a whole lot to me considering me and my brother are working on this project together before we leave this world!! He's not doing so well and recently two years ago I have had a stroke!! The good Lord willing we will get it done!! God bless and thank you very much for this excellent video!! Wish you showed what you did with the bypass plumbing... PS to help with blow by, you can mod a smog pump, in to a vac pump. (connecting the new intake ports to the valve covers & the exhaust port to a catch can.) That's what I did on my SN93 Paxton install. Instead of running hoses from the valve covers to the and to intake piping of the supercharger. I really didn't want all of that oil vapor going through my intake setup. No I can't see as to Dino numbers cuz I did this 20 years ago.. but I can say second gear went from a chirp to the car going sideways with the mod. ;-) @G4help

Hey Bud, love the setup. I just got the V3SI kit for my cobra. I did have a question on the accessory belt tensioner. Did you have any issues with pulley alignment. I just cant get the damn things aligned without a stack of washers on that AC bracket.

Setup looks really familiar…wonder how it would matchup with the old checkered bullet that used to run the Dothan roads! Sounds great buddy! 👍🏻

Music to my ears. That's how a supercharger should sound, loud. There's a Mustang around my neighborhood, that looks like a sleeper until you pull up next to him and hear that whistling sound under the hood. And when he hits the gas you know that's not a bone stock car, it just looks like it from the outside.

T-bolt clamps may hold that coupler quite a bit better.

Fairly quiet for a heritage? I have the same v3 si without heritage and it sounds same as yours. Unless mine came already upgraded but thought heritage would be significantly louder almost obnoxious

Just ordered a Vortech V3 si trim for my 1995. It’s got a 331 and I’m super pumped. Mega squirt PNP2 and 60lb injectors, what pulley size do you recommend to 450-475whp? Will a 255 pump Be enough? I’m afraid it will make too much power and max the pump and destroy the trans

I just installed a V3 SI on my '92 HCI coupe. I bought the coupe brand new in '92.. It's in the process of getting finished, but i was wondering what size pulleys you have on this setup to get 12# of boost? Thanks.

Not really sure how I missed this but what size injectors did you install? Also are you using an FMU or a BTM? Its really crazy how the addition of a supercharger can make a car sound like it has a much bigger camshaft than it actually has. My little stock bottom end H/C/I S-trim 95 GT with a little E-cam sounded much bigger after the SC... But still no matter what it made 508 rwhp 481 Ft.lb of TQ. on only 8 lbs of boost., later on same bottom end it made 534rwhp on 10lbs of boost everything else remained exactly the same. That was the point at which I stopped, It ran out of injector, I had a set of 42lb in it. I'm more that happy to share my fuel system set up with you if You would like but Its a bit of typing so I'm asking first LOL, But just lmk and I will tell you all about it. I actually went in the opposite direction from everybody else on it. Please dont misunderstand me, I'm in no way saying that you are doing anything wrong or that you need my help because it's obvious that you know exactly what you are doing. Very nice car buddy sounds awesome, also I'm with you on the noisy straight cut gears I love the way they sound
