These 3 honestly saved my life ...I'm so depressed I didn't want to be here ....only had them to cheer me up ...not asking for sympathy but they got me thru ..God bless Karl n RU-vid ...thank u from the bottom of my heart
James Bedford .... how are you feeling now ? I do hope u r still OK . I can relate to what u wrote ....I started listening in Oct. 2018 whilst I was in a woman’s refuge for domestic abuse victims . 3 years on and I’m still listening every night before and when I drift off to sleep ......it’s my favourite time of the day TBH ☹️. I’m still depressed but I keep plodding on 🙃. Sending u a cuddle and a hug and wishing you a very happy future .
I’ve been listening to these guys for over 10 years now. It started as listening while I went for walks etc and they soon became my comfort. Whenever I’m low or depressed, I turn to these 3 guys . They’ve saved me xxx
I've listened to these since day 1 when they were originally aired on XFM. I was in my 20s and a young, carefree young woman. Now, I'm 43 in a few months and these uploads to RU-vid quite possibly have saved me from going over the edge with my depression more times I care to remember. Thank You for this. Not all Heroes wear capes ❤
Have listened to Karl, Steve and Ricky every night for the past 9 years or so. Give or take the odd night off. Now I find I can't sleep without listening to them. Such a comfort 😊Noone makes me laugh as much!
I started listening to them in 2013 when I was backpacking and in noisy hostels, now I listen every night before I go off to sleep. And they are still hilarious.
There appears to be thousands of us. Pretty much every night for me for years too.. Have everything on the phone, dip into YT for a mix some nights. Funniest thing I've ever heard.
I’m not even joking when I say this but I learnt more from every podcast/radio show they did compared to school. It’s been over 10 years since I’ve found these three and it still never gets old
Its crazy how old these podcasts are early 2000s i mean like in 2011 i thought these were current and it is crazy because its like these were the first podcasts to be called podcasts
Feeling suicidal and stressed out, but Karl will always be there to make me laugh. Best wishes to all of the fans - we worship the most incredible man. The almighty “squozen” one.
dude i'm knees deep in shit in my life right now, nothing makes me happy and i'm stressed out as fuck trying to solve a thousand problems at once. i've been grumpy and rude for a couple months now due to stress, nothing makes me laugh. i already knew ricky and stephen but for some reason i wasn't aware of karl. i saw my first 'karl video' about two days ago. i still can't think about foodage without laughing to the point that tears come out my eyes. thank you for cheering me up when nothing else could, you goddamn stupidest genius ever.
I get you exactly, my story is the same as yours-nothing was able to bring me comfort. I used to watch the Ricky Gervais Show with my grandson years ago when he was about six, we watched all the shows together and laughed our heads off. Anyway, I started listening to these RU-vid vids a couple of months ago when I was in a really dark place and it’s helped me so much. I turn the lights out at bedtime and listen, having a great laugh. I always fall asleep before the end though, lol. What’s amazing is that I’ve had to use sleeping pills for several years, but since listening to these I’ve barely had to use them and sleep so much better. These three are a cure for sadness and insomnia. ♥️ Hope you’re feeling better too!
Love these types of vidoes with the black screens. Great for falling asleep listening to them without the glare of thr screen keeping you awake. Good stuff out of you 👍
Atleast Karl is himself 👌💯 all Steve does is hold Ricky's pockets. Ricky says "jump steve" "how high" he replies. "Bend over steve" you can finish the rest 😂
These three guys are the best drinking buddies possible! But how could we find a pub large enough to accommodate Karl’s JD&coke with his Empire State Building sized ice cube😂🤣😂 These guys have pulled me through dark times since I first listened on XFM in 2002, thanks RS&K👍
@@blobcity3591you are right to a point, they play up to their "parts" more as the show goes on and gained popularity but that's why the early radio shows were the best.
There was a old fella passing wind he didn’t even try the cover it up with a cough 😅🤣he really is the best thing that happened to this world🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😁😁😁😆😆😆
Never a dull moment with Karl.... these are good friends too...if you don't make fun and insult your friends to their face(s)....are you really friends or just pretending?
Karl is a pure soul, isn't he. "Theres Luxury cruise ships so big that there are some rough areas" - classic Pilkington. His book the 'Moaning of Life' is one of funniest books i've read. Even better than the tv series its based on.
I accidentally came across this podcast. Had never heard of it. Love to fall asleep listening to them. The guy in the hospital who had problems with passing wind, had a colostomy bag, according to Karl. He couldn't control it, especially if it was coming out of his colostomy. I have an ileostomy, I should know. Not very fun but pretty funny, even from my standpoint I get it.
He thinks like a child. I remember being 8 years old and saying things like "dogs have human eyes" and "Could you plug up a volcano?" Most people have just forgotten how they thought as children so his ramblings sound more profound than they actually are. Whether that's stupid or not depends on whether you classify children as stupid. I'd say more misinformed, ignorant and very curious.
Questioning the point of anti biotics, believing in the monkey news, and applying human like traits to animals is kinda stupid. I love Karl, but do you not listen to him?
It's about how Karl is able to appreciate the little things in life; the mundane things and is not just self-obsessed, like most people. He has genuine empathy. The whinging and moaning is part of the 'persona' he's developed for the public. Although not classically educated or an intellectual Karl knows exactly what he is doing. Not to burst anyone's bubble here but you do realize that the three of them are a comedy team and these podcasts are not spontaneous? They've recorded many of Karl's stories more than once and each time Ricky and Steve act surprised at what Karl comes out with even though they've (and we've) heard it before. This being one example. Still love the K Man though.
@@boogiedahomey Yes Karl has even told the same story with different endings. One example is his dads mate John the screw at 1st he owned a D.I.Y shop hence the nickname. Then in a later discussion he was a cabbie. There are a few others i have noticed.
You’re also listening to something that’s almost 2 decades old. Ricky remained relevant through his own success, which includes Karl. We wouldn’t know Karl if it wasn’t for Ricky, and we wouldn’t of gotten a lot of the content without Stephen telling Ricky to shut up and let Karl talk. Not being rude, just educating.
On the Titanic, people in the steerage section were not allowed to leave the area. The funny part was that today's cruise ships are so big that there could he BAD AREAS like an area of town.
I have faith in the WOK, (Wisdom of Karl) Karl, if by any chance you have knowledge of why or how do carpet squares move, I would appreciate your input. I live down under and my squares always move from left to right. Do your squares also move, and if so, in what direction. Time is not in the essence of your reply. Yours in anticipation, P L
9:46 You can hear Karl say "I imagine a lot of people make the same mistake" at the same time as Ricky saying "I like it", which is just as well it was muffled by Ricky talking as he got reprimanded on air during the xfm days when he said "they do all look the same".
