Pov: It was a cold and dark night. A billion stars twinkled above as I made my way to the empty swing seat. A metallic wail rang through the air as though I wasn't alone in this darkened garden. The sound of low humming as well as my feet crunching onto the dried leaves surrounded the atmosphere. Only five steps more and ill be in front of that old metallic swing seat; I thought to myself. My breath caught in my throat. I gulped. A girl just about my age sat 5 feet out of my reach, and yet it felt like we were galaxies a part. The full moon and infinite other stars reflected onto her eyes. My heartbeat quickened. I was caught off guard. And right there I knew I would be haunted by this moment for life, for I saw a real aphrodite disguised in a silky silver dress while humming to herself in an old rusty swing set, alone under the cold breeze and moonlight. She was oblivious to my presence. I was sure of it. And yet I couldn't seem to make my presence known to her, nor could I convince myself that my palms weren't sweaty and that I wasn't out of breathe. So instead of fighting for an acknowledgement from her.. I walked away. (sorry for the grammar errors guys hahaha lol)
