@@carinaslima every non-socialist country wishes to be imperialist at one point and the only context in which national liberation is progressive is to sharpen class struggle for a double revolution (Lenin, critical remarks on the national questions, and Lenin, A Caricature of Marxism and Imperialist Economism)

I'd be down for stressa s2 but I'd make sure to brand it as non cannon so you can make it more interesting and also because now there are less comparable moments in the timeline to ours.
The Socialist colonization during the scramble of Africa was an extremely controversial policy. I cut out a part attempting to explain the idiosyncrasy but essentially they argued that they were protecting the natives from capitalist colonization, and that they could provide socialism to the natives under their protection In the cut part, I was very critical of this policy, explaining it was the same civilizing narrative that the other great powers were doing. This sort of policy goes to show that even though the Peoples Republic was a socialist dominated one it wasn't truthfully adhering to Marxist principles of anti-imperialism, etc. Thanks for your comment.
Love to see your take on what if the Canadian colonies joined the USA in the American revolution or the USA defeated the britsh army in Canada and annex Canada. Or if the USA in 1866 swayed the Canadain colonies to join the USA as new states. With north America becoming the land of the free and home of the brave.

Stresa is really dear to me as a series, so I will definitely do a "season 2", even if its only a minor epilogue. However, I do want to diversify the content on my channel and pursue other creative outlets so I can come back to the Stresa timeline with a fresh mind. Hope you stay tuned until then!
