Jason Bischoff is a writer and creator in the entertainment world. His talk outlines the rise of geek culture in America and why it has become such a huge phenomenon.
Jason Bischoff is a Writer/Creator and eleven year toy industry veteran, whose body of work includes contributions to four iterations of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles™ (incl. Nickelodeon’s 2012 re-launch), Ben 10™, Wonder Woman™, Strawberry Shortcake™ and Blues Clues™ on top of original projects. The founder of Promethean Works, a guerrilla IP and Story development studio, in addition, Jason serves as Director, Global Consumer Products (Hardlines) for Saban Brands (Power Rangers, Paul Frank, Popples); a multi-billion dollar company.
A jack-of-all-trades creative with a merchandiser’s mind, Jason’s unique approach to development ensures through-line brand experiences that begin and end with ‘toyetic architecture.’ When not working on world-class brands, comics and television shows, Jason pretends like he's sleeping to avoid the robot-suspicions of others.
