The civilian use of this technology is interesting. But I don't think it will be of much military use. I think the military will switch to using weaponized flying drones instead. With improved AI, these could become really efficient. Forget robots built as humans. The drones will be much smaller.

Future warfare is going to be cyber warfare dominant. If ground troops are needed it’s best to develop full AI soldiers rather than hybrid super soldiers. Human bodily functions and performance limitations make them a liability. Having fully functioning AI soldiers that are disposable would be far more effective.

It may have been “solved” by selection like war, poverty, disaster, or plague, but it is risky, costly, and inhumane now. It is undeniable there are also other “virtues of war” such as the development of science and technology. Even so, I wish we can achieve sustainability with new technologies developed by peaceful, humane policies as much as possible.
