His speech is very polished which means he have a teleprompter screen with the digital speech displayed on the dash board of the camera man. That is what the host some times look to and read when Hollywood have all those awards like the Grammy Awards etc

I mean the ps5 is not even close to the slowest estimated performance of the brain. If we were to compare it to ps5 which is at 10 teraflops, the brain would be around 10 - 300 petaflops, thats atleast 10,000 times much faster and much more efficient. So the joke is invalid

Well Sony gave developers PS5 built kits to test things out and to squeeze as much performance and resolution as possible in there games earlier on during the initial build phase of the PS5 where Microsoft gave some some developers build kits a couple months before release plus microsoft were giving Series X youtubers to showcase saying we built the most powerful console but problem is that if the games are not optamize to take advantage of the hardware then the game will run poor.
It's utterly hilarious to look back on this and see how many people called him a liar, said he was damage controlling... and yet how everything he's said here has proven to be true.

Sony forgot they're selling this to a generation of people that can't wrap their heads around progress and have attention spans of a goldfish, which is not nearly enough to read one sentence of the description of this video. Ikr, it took quite a while for the general mass to digest this information as people are still pulling new info that has been overlooked. I'm intrigued on all the specs of efficiency this console has. I'm curious how all this unfolds with UE5 as some aspects of the engine is tailored to take advantage of the PS5's computing power/efficiency. I'm also intrigued with the research they are putting in 3D audio but I have a feeling that would be truly perfected on the PS6 kind of how like VR was for the PS4 compared to what they claim for the PS5.

Basically, that there's more to performance than just numbers on a spreadsheet. That optimization goes a long way in improving performance and giving more enhancements to gameplay.

Hes a genius imagine being lead architect on 3 consoles, and just think he started working with Atari at 17 years old, even worked with Sega, and helped Sony for 25 years hes amazing i wish i could have taught myself 3d rendering when it wasn't possible lol.

he is proud of what he presented, and he's happy to present it. look at his body language, listen to his voice. he's like a child presenting their favorite toy. that's why mark cerny held this presentation and no one else.
Cerny is widely regarded as an industry legend and one of the greatest minds the industry as ever seen. His career long predates Playstaion and Sony is currently lucky to have him. He’s the rare combination of genius level hardware and software engineer AND game director. Not even Kojima or even Miyamoto can boast that.
Notice how they actually focus on games and talking to developers. Notice how they actually focus on issues such as how annoying load times can be? That’s just awesome. I will be getting the PS5 in support of such outstanding thinking.
Also on price for consumer they don’t wanna make something too expensive for consumers but I still think it’ll be 500 dollars which isn’t bad for the tech they got in this thing
