I really enjoyed our video. Thank you for showing the changes you made as you went along. Being a beginner I enjoyed seeing what could go wrong in your build and how you can change things as you go along and it is okay.

I was into it and then almost skipped it when I saw pocket holes. But i'm still here. Dude you got skills, why use them. Does a raggedy pocket hole look bete than a row of well placed screw heads??.. I'll shut up now. The lag bolts saved you.

16:04 I used a metal fish tank stand that someone had put out as trash, it looked very nice and clean. And i was trying to figure out how to add draws, what you just did sliding a pre-made cabnit into the stand solves my problem perfectly.

Nice looking router table, I would make 2 changes. Mount the switch on the side in a plastic switch box And add a real right hand draw. More bits storage. Also on right and left sides add fold down wings for long parts.
@foxhallww311
@foxhallww311 6 месяцев назад
The bit storage idea is good. I might do that.

25:45 plexiglass door, the holes you cut out fir air movement You can take a small pocket butane Torch and heat the edge of the hole And it will smooth out the markes the hole saw made, you might sand it down some but you can get it glass smooth like it was buffed.

Nice build. I have the same top and fence so this is perfect so I bought the plans. But I have a few questions. I see that the width of the base is 30 15/16" while the width of my router fence mounting flanges are 29 15/16" wide under the table. I see at time stamp 5:25 your mounting flanges do "fit perfectly". My Jessem phenolic top is 31 7/8 wide, perhaps yours is different? Also, the Bora router that you link in the description looks like a beast. How is that working for you?
@foxhallww311
@foxhallww311 Месяц назад
Funny story about the bora. It died. So I bought a spin right router. Which is basically the same thing. spin Right makes the bora router. But the router is fantastic! With every penny. I need to update the link. Also I think I have the first version of that table. So your measurements might be off slightly. Thank you supporting the channel!

Awesome router table you've built. I guess lots of your audiences are chainsaw users. I'm wondering whether you would like to talk about a collaboration that can help lots of chainsaw users. Hipa supplies parts and consumables for chainsaws and maybe we could collaborate to help more DIYers know our webiste that would help them source the parts and chains they need easier and affordable?
