Thanks for the informative video. Could occlusal recontouring of the supraerupted teeth have made Bruxzir bridge possible here? Also, how long a span can be safely planned while opting for Bruxzir?

Thank you for your question Dr GD Jain.Recontouring a healthy tooth should be the last option especially in such a case where even if we adjust the opposing tooth we wouldn't be able to get a sound connector because of the extent of supra eruption of the upper tooth.Also,needless to say,we would do more damage to the healthy teeth.So its better to have a PFM made instead a BruxZir.You can give a long span bridge as long as the occlusion is fine and very few or no undercuts..

tks dr, fr the informative video...got a doubt...any tip to calculate the rule of 27 clinically? or its possible only by scanning?

Hi... yes . you can take a perio probe and keep it in the patients mouth to measure the available space for the connector, use the formula and there you have it !!
