Great video as always Tim. Love it. I recently flew to Stansted with EasyJet which was fine. It always cracks me up to see people who pay extra for the privilege of getting on the plane first. I spoke to one individual in the queue and said , “you do realise that the plane isn’t even at the gate yet”. I suppose you really pay for the priority of boarding your hand luggage on first. And don’t even get me started on the other end of the journey when said “prioritees “(I know, not a real word) proceed to stand in the isle for the immediate ‘I’m first , it’s really important that I get off now’ queue to disembark. What’s the point of all of it? Do they not realise that the plane doesn’t leave until we’re all on and it gets us to the destination all at the same time. I suppose they like to be first on and first off. They like to be first on the train to get to the city centre so that they can be first to book into the hotel , check in and then first to the restaurant and then first to the Theatre show and then first in line for the taxi line to get back to hotel to be first to get to bed. Multiply that ten fold over the weekend and I suppose they’re first to get back home! Me? I happy to be the person that ten minutes behind. I get to do everything the FIRST person does except my temperament is more calmer with a slower heartbeat. Being second doesn’t mean that life is somehow less enjoyable. As they say ,” the early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese”! Glad I got that off my chest. 😂

Great video Tim as always! You say you had priority boarding, however there looked to be a number of passengers ahead of you in the que on the stairs. Ive found a similar situation with easyJet at Inverness airport. In my mind priority boarding means you get on the plane before the non priority boarding passengers are released from the terminal. I've never used priority boarding myself but this never seems to happen. At best priority boarding often let's you get to the front of the que in the hoarding area then everyone goes to the plane together 🤔
