Thanks for posting! We recommend disc sizing based on cervix height; for a high to medium cervix during menses we recommend the Saalt Disc Regular which holds 50 mL fluid (6 reg tampons). @@saaltcohiii I have a question. I just got the saalt disc small(yay!) and Ik your supposed to boil the disc for 5 mins but I was wondering if the ph balancing cleanser is necessary. Can I just boil it for 5 mins before my cycle or do I NEED the cleanser? I’ll probably get it but it won’t arrive in time before my cycle starts

@@Nohablogringo- that's a great question! No - Saalt Wash is not necessary. Many people sanitize their cup/disc before and after their period, but choose to only rinse their cup or disc with water during their people. However, Saalt Wash is pH-balanced, and is an ideal choice for washing your cup or disc during your period over hand soap, Castille soap, dish soap, African soap, bleach, baking soda, vinegar, sterilizing tablets - all of which will degrade and ruin your cup/disc over time. @@saaltcohi, sorry for the bother but im using the saalt disc small and for some reason i’m having trouble getting the disc to stay under my cervix. It seems to always push my cervix to my vag fornix and doesn’t catch my flow. Am I got inserting it correctly or do I have a retroverted cervix?
