Ah yes, a Brotherhood soldier wearing Enclave armor. I'm surprised that no one reacted negatively to something that reminded them of their former enemy.
@@rengoober Technically the cat never dies. (The cat's located in an interior cell, destroying the prydwyn simply deletes the area transition from the map.) You can pull up the console and coc your way directly there. Everyone inside will probably be hostile though. Hm...come to think of it I'm gonna try that, I'm curious myself. Yep, it works, and they're hostile lol. You can't kill the children because it's a Bethesda game, so I suppose you can always coc your way in, take out the soldiers, and headcanon it that you let the kids live and take the cat.
When doing Out of the Fire, I grabbed the heavy incinerator from the crucible in Saugus Ironworks. Immediately after I was doing a Raider Troubles for Nordhagen Beach, targeting East City Downs. So there no shit, there I was in Stealth Boy, and dropping an arty grenade into the race track when the Enclave troopers show up. Since I was still invisible, the raiders were the ones to get into a gun fight with the Enclave soldiers. I watched as the shells dropped on their heads. The Hellfire trooper made it out, and Codsworth and I finished him/her off. And that kids is how I got my own X-01 Hellfire power armor and automatic plasma rifle before becoming a full fledged BoS paladin.
In this mission, a bug had occurred when I went to do it, and then when I killed the robots, I found danse already dead (I used a pistol to kill the robots) and I tried to reload a save but he was already dead when in the save I had made
Theres another bug with the next gen version because of the pyro community quest they added, maxon will start fighting them if you do this quest before killing them
The first time this happened to me I felt bad. I joined the Brotherhood of Steel because my resources ran out from helping the Minutemen and I stayed with Danse doing side quests my entire playthrough. By the time I decided to continue with the main story I had already formed a bond of camaraderie with Danse and when it was my turn to make this difficult decision I would obviously disobey Maxson but he ended up executing it and I got really bad and almost killed him like Anakin killed Windu. But I didn't have the courage. Now I loaded up the game and gave Danse an X02 MK VI from the Enclave. You will always be the best companion Danse.
Cods and dogmeat, 95% of the game. Rest 5%is either danse or nick. Don't care much for rest.i did maxed out relationships so you can get follower perks rhough
for those ofyou invested in RP and immersion Probably best if you shoot even some spare him while youre part of Enclave they probably wouldve killed him after you passed away if hes lucky
its sad bc he led us under his wing and brought us into the BOS, and its sad seeing the one that led you through it all turn out to be your worst enemy. I didn't want to kill him at all, but it was my only choice for the BOS Ending. Its what he wanted. (and yes ik you can still spare him and get the ending but it was my first playthrough so i was unaware)
@@rengooberxbox actually has a peak third faction ending Mod now that the topic was brought here I recommend America Rising 2 legacy of the enclave. Yeah, you help the enclave get the commonwealth
You know the only part I hate about killing Danse is even if you refuse and he dies I believe Scribe Haylen still blames you and gets mad. Let him commit suicide by refusing to kill him, Haylen blames you. Convince him to live but fail to convince Maxon, she still blames you. Doesn't matter if you do the task yourself or someone else does, it's your fault.
Weird, my game had paladin Danse in his underwear when I finally did this mission. I thought, damn Danse must really be taking this being a synth thing hard.
@@TrueSpartan079 yeah tho im kinda happy that i didnt know u could spare him bc i wanted my first playthrough to be completely on my own with no spoilers/tips. Its more immersive that way imo
Eh. NPC. No big deal. I'd Fatman him to make it real quick, because he was a decent aide when you needed it, but orders are orders, and the wasteland doesn't tolerate weakness.
@@rengoober yup. I don't get being attached to an NPC. It's not real life, so technically and truthfully, they have zero effect on what happens in my life or the life of anyone else. So if one of the NPCs wants me to kill another NPC, then do be it. It's why I normally end up going evil in these games, because the developers want you to feel for the characters they develop, but I just can't.
@@rengoober lol. It's my personal thoughts on the NPCs. They are expendable, just like anything else that would be used. Not something to get attached to.
I just did extensive research and wanted to stay in the BoS and save Danse, so Don't feel bad at all lol. (SPOILERS) he still gets exiled from the brotherhood and stays at that bunker. If you are seen by BoS while travelling with him, they will attack you on sight.@@rengoober I
@rengoober one thing I hate too, is that I always maximize my Charisma. So when I refuse to kill Danse I can talk Maxson into leaving him alone/ exiling him. But Danse doesn't leave, he stays at Bravo, but he's no longer available as a companion he just stays there and says "You're a good soldier."
Heres something thats messed up i followed the brother hood all the way to sentinal rank then after decing out the castle with enclave decor and getting the powwr armor i do a 180 and kill knight ryas and then destroyed the predwin with artillery
