I love this band, but I have to say the more I listen to the old songs from back in the day, I am convinced the musical key of "drunk and angry" is a real thing. Love em, but I do remember and older version that rocked a little bit harder. Glad they found peace.
I just love this band , been watching them since the 90s in the Jolly Rodger Newcastle (Newie ) , where your shoes use to stick to the floor 😂 and decades later I still love to watch them perform ,gleesons face expressions get me everytime, they know how to get the audience in and always is a awesome show to see , thanks guys for the many years of great music and dedication . Rock on 🤘
We supported The Screaming Jets in Coffs Hrb in the 90s (we were called Jamaica Rock back then) and they were AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Could listen to Dave sing anytime and what a bunch of great guys too. Thanks for the memories Dave and boys
This has to be my most favorite song from you guys outright!! I remember being able to perform live with you guys when Dave headed the NRL footy show's band back in 2003. Your words when we spoke in the Green Room before before performing that night, have motivated me to keep on going with my music even when it felt like it was failing.. Im forever grateful for your kindness, Dave..
You will forever be one of the best bands i have ever seen live EVER!!!!!!, you supported THUNDER years ago in PLYMOUTH UK, and i have loved you ever since, bought Tear of Thought on cassette straight away and played it to death, used to sing 'Where is Gus' until my Mrs pointed out it was 'Wearing Scars'. still listen to you now in awesome Cornwall UK, surfing central, and 'Tunnel' is my fave, but 'Helping Hand' will always be me and my Mrs's song, should of been way bigger than you were, love you boys, Taz aged 45 ;)
This was a great line-up. Three of the originals still in the band. Fast forward to late 2023 and Grant is missing in action and Paul is deceased 🙁. At least Dave is still flying the flag.
