They don’t teach this in U.S. history class, because it will look bad on US. Learned about this when I deep dive into Iran’s oil history. West vs Iran truly start in 1908, not in 1979

Eventualy karma will strike back. And americas actions in the coup should not be seen as contested but as responsable. The US is just mad that they no longer control the oil in that country, much like cuba for instance. In other words america only wants to be the salesman not the costumer

correct, except that us never controlled iranian oil. even top geophysicists can't tell how much oil exists or will develop. so currently oil is pumped in usa, send to canada and returned, bc it's not worth spending trillions building the infrastructure and as we see, the fracking has stopped and waste of trillions. the same happened with british, when they got oil, instead of cash, for refining. and of course we kicked them out once we kept finding new wells bc then it was worth budgeting refineries

The Consortium Agreement of 1954 provided Western oil companies with 50% ownership of Iranian oil production after its ratification in 1954 expiring in 1979.

China and Russia are suspected responsible for the wave of coups in central and West Africa. Unfortunately if the US is not doing it then someone else will step in it seems. Hopefully one day no nation will do this.
