Something that's also interesting is there are Fish on the map Valhalla in Halo 3. In the water, you can shoot / throw a grenade and they'll spawn floating on top of the water. 343's remakes seem to miss these small features, as if they didn't know about them to begin with.

It's just that they only are in the segment when one of the Marine commanders states the power was cut. So basically you are in the dark and it was hard to see them. They are used all over the map in the dark places. They're killable and can be spotted easily with Nigh Vision.

The shielded flood carrier is absolutely adorable. Proper h behavior. Also Noble team in halo 4 automatically makes the game look better. Halo 4 armors were so offensively rude and nasty, thank god someone snuck the good models in even if they werent used.

Funfact: the noble team head biped replacing their helmets in cutscenes is the same trick they used in ODST for sgt johnson, however the biped used there was the firefight johnson one instead of it's own dedicated one which is why johnsons hat is grey in the cutscenes. As an aside, i think the banger form was meant to be spawned by tank forms, since they do have the ability to spawn infection forms

A lot of the Halo reach animals were actually there. Just only in specific missions and areas. The raven and rat can be found during Exodus. Roaches are in the return to sword base. Hawks fly over somewhere on the first mission. I don’t know about the others.

I was playing halo reach on the 360 and then I died on the last mission and it respawn me and said there will be another time. Kind of confused me maybe it was a glitch with the respon and the text maybe was a dialog part that was cut idk just thought it was odd thought I should tell the best "glitch" lore and other stuff like that creator Edit: love the vid :)

Those spheres with the chrome reflection sphere and the grey sphere are most likely lighting IBL's. In visual effects the VFX artist would have those as reference to light their scenes with (so it would light the scene based on the HDRI of that chrome sphere). Very cool to know that those chrome sphere's are in game as it means you could effectively extract perfect lighting conditions to the game from them......

The Gar fish is actually commonly called the "alligator gar" or "gator gar". And they are deadly, but are very doctile. Best to say is just leave them be tbh lol. Grandpa catches them all the time. -Your viewer from the South

Hold up, that Engineer model was virtually the same model used in Halo Wars. Didn't even know they were in there. And it's widely theorized (can't remember if it is cannon) that the Flood carriers are infected Jackels which makes sense that there is a shielded form

The gar are real fish. The ones my lake have are small yo medium but some can get up to 8 or 9 feet long. @Generalkidd

I had no idea Engineers had been around so long. Neeto The space blimp reminds me of concept art of what creatures would look like if they lived on different planets in our solar system. I wish I remembered the title of the book, the art was beautiful. The "Pretty Spartan" looks like it just has slightly sharper textures (see the body glove behind the knee), and probably has a higher polycount (hence the framerate drop) The rat is seen throughout the Reach campaign. on New Alexandria for sure in the lower parts of the opening area.

The rat from halo 3 IS used in the mission the package, when you make your way into sword base and have to take the Alternate route, you can see it on the floor past the doors.
