I find what Matrick Pathew theorized about the wither makes a bit more sense. The ancient builders faced a zombie apocalypse in the overworld so they fled to the nether. They noticed the bodies they buried in soulsand were comming back as wither skeletons and attempted to revive their loved ones using the soul filled substance and in doing so, created the wither. They then had to flee the nether and decided the end was a better place to take shelter. And then they evolved into endermen.
The ancient wither should be a wither storm. He brought the command block to earth and killed all ancient builder so that they got extinct. Then it was trappen in the nether

Or, Couse the ancient builders were bothering the Dead in the Nether and they someway accidentally made the Wither in the Overworld. They were previousley experimenting, and created the plan for an End portal, they were smart, so they built strongholds deep underground so the survivors could escape to the End there. When they finally built the portal, they went trough, but the items powering portal (presumably something to do with blaze rods too) got destroyed. When they realised, that there was a dragon there they couldn't go back home. Some of them got away from the dragon to the End wastes, and they built End cities packed with prechious loot they had brought there. There was nothing to eat there, but chorus fruit, but when they ate it for millenias the spechies transformed drastically turning into what we call Enderman now. The wither in the Owerworld slowly lost more of its souls, and it was only left with one. The Wither's last soul used up all of its remaining magic, and transformed into a human entity, the Player. This transformation finished, when the game started seemingly spawning us out of nowhere.

This is a good idea, maybe after a while they forgot and they made the wither again but they couldn’t beat it maybe because of the wither sickness and they perish
I really like your lore shorts but I think for the wither game theory is better, basically when the ancient builders went to the nether when they buried the dead the nether rack under them sucked their souls turning into soul sand and leaving a wither skeleton when they realized this they tried to revive their lost ones by mixing soul sand with wither skeletons but it resulted in the wither, watch the whole video for more detail
True story: There was this ancient builder who was a king in his town and one day his son died due to unknown circumstances after that he tried desperately to cure his son after many failed attempts one of his knight told him that there were blocks in this weird portal we call the nether. After they entered it with the king he grabbed soul sand and 2 skulls. When he went to the overworld he later put the soul sand in a small cross shape and placed the two skull alongside with his son's skull. After that a massive burst came out with the Monster that he calls his son glowing in blue while returning in dark over and over again until it turned black and started moving. Later it attacked the town causing many deaths and a broken stronghold. Later the monster looking thing went to a village And destroyed everything. All that the villagers can do, it didn't work as they only dealt 1 damage to the monster like beast. After the extinct of the ancient builders due to the monster. When it was randomly roaming around it found a portal leading to the nether. Later it attacked many people living in harmony with the pigs that managed to survive the attack from the stronghold after a strong brief of time It went into a glowing blue color while changing back to the black color and later then Vanished. After the weird disappearance with the monster like beast everyone was happy and started living in harmony again, until it came back the survivors: alex and steve later realised its existence and started fighting it. After a long painful time the beast which they call the whither Had finally died (correct me if wrong)

I like the theory and it’s really good but I have another one. During the nether war that turned a once peaceful dimension into a wasteland of fire the souls of the dead and angered were brought back to life to fight in the ongoing war because the ancient builders were losing people left and right to the mutated pigs now known as piglins. After fusing multiple vengeful spirits together the wither was born and also I think the beacon gives blessing because the ancient builders are glad the wither is vanquished.btw great theory
Bonus : When the wither making chaos. Ancient builder got splited into 2 1. Some Stays in the nether 2. Some build an portal that goes to other dimension. The end 3. Some build a base underground (ancient city) (different theory) Number one : After they build nether portal and after the wither get trapped. Some ancient builder still in there and had to fight against the wither. Some died. And some ancient builder alive.the soul that died got trapped in soul sand (or maybe became wither minion), The remaining sadly died cause of starving. Number two : A group of ancient builder want to make a base underground (the stronghold) to survive from the wither. They've done it and live in there. A month later they ran out of food. So they enter the portal and see what is inside it. In the end : they realise there is a dragon. They know they had to fight it. Some ancient builder died and the survivor escape to the outer end. They found a food called chorus fruit and its their only way to survive. And then ancient builder decided to live there and make a base (the flying ship and the pur pur tower thing. I forgot the name)they realise their body start changing. Without knowing the chorus fruit make ancient builder became enderman and almost lost control to their body Number three : some decided to build a underground city. When the city was done ancient builder decide to build a portal in the middle for a emergency exit. But they don't realise there is a monster behind it. Warden is out from the portal and starting to make chaos. The dead body makes the portal leaking. Skulk spreading. The remaining escape and trying to find a new place to survive. And pop up the idea like anccient city but different. The Strong hold. Ok now after this the story is just the same like the end one but with different start. The end theory start with group of ancient builder that survive from the wither making base underground And ancient city theory is a group of survivors from the ancient city making base underground
I kinda disagree with the meteor theory, but i believe its more likely cause the builders got so addvance that they travel to hell, tried to be god by resurrecting, and build a bunch of forts in the nether cuz everything is tryna kill em, and accidentally build a wither but yeah kinda like that
a person was on halloween,they went to the nether to pick up some materials and then they found wither skeletons trying to kill him so he killed the wither skeletons and though that the wither skeletons skulls looked pretty good for a statue so he got some more materials to make a statue but he makes a wither accidentally,says "oops" and thinks its herobrine and starts telling people about how to build a real herobrine ritual statue
My theory is that the Ancient Builders at this point now almost extinct , so when the wither came they tried to protect themselves, after they put the wither in the Nether, the dead Ancient Builders now changed by nature into the skeloton which help @Stay Shorts ' s theory when the wither infected the Nether with soul soil and soul sand also infecting the skelotons in the process
I tink, the wither was made by buildres to fight in war but he cant be controled so they build the stronghold to made researces to fin a way to stop it.
My theory is this, they had already made the nether portal, and they had created fortresses to defend against other nations, skeletons, and such, but over centuries of humans living in the nether the ice had become unstable, and was melting, causing the mantle to crack, and cause eruptions of lava, filling the nether. Underneath all the ice which any remaining became basalt, had been covering the netherack, and the reaction of the thousands of souls from the countless wars waged in the nether had turned to soul sand, and brewed up hells rage bringing forth the wither, which then went on a rampage killing thousands, and turning them into wither skeletons. They closed off the nether to escape, but the wither was breaking through it maybe something much worse, and so they tried to escape into different dimensions, they divided into multiple groups with many different opinions on how to do it, and so what we know of is, the ancient city, the end/enderMEN and the villagers who were left behind.
no, as ancient minecraft had only netherrack, when the wither was trapped it exploaded due to the extreme heat in the neither and its exploison blew ip all the neither rack into sand and its soul got trapped in the sand making "soul sand" and during that process it turned the skeletons into wither skeletons to be remade as he said.
the wither is a creature that is large and thick by its bones. soon after.. the large wither made wither skeletons to use the hint for players to summon back the wither instead of being large. it became small due to the evolution of the wither. (did you know some animals will evolve smaller because of reasons?)
