The Secret Technique to Transform a French Desk with Gold Leaf and Decoupage 

I usually avoid picking up furniture that has been previously painted, but the curves of this kidney shaped desk were too pretty to pass by. I sanded the top only to find it was too damaged to leave, so it gets a stunning new look in an aged gold leafing technique. The body will be completely transformed using the foil birds paper from Mint by Michelle, that I've been saving for just the right piece. a few moulds from redesign with prima take this to over the top elegance with a French feel.
