The installation of this is easy, the hardest part is making sure you remove the right fasteners on the body to get access to it. It was a direct swap with no fabrication required. Undo the old one and put the new one in with it’s pigtail and you are on your way to near perfect voltage regulation. In my before and after testing, the ReVolt regulator offers better voltage regulation at a lower operating temperature which will prolong the life of the part.
