This has to be true. I was meditating in prayer one morning and a prayer came to me to bless my food and drink with. I've never heard it before and never thought of it before, wasn't thinking about it. Another morning I asked God.. "What does it mean to fast for you, Lord? To eat for you and to not eat for you?" In my discernment, something spoke in my spirit that said "You eat with me, bless your food for US." And it all clicked. Blessings to you and your family❤

Thanks for this, I'm in the midst of my 33 days of Consecration to Our Blessed Mother and it's a real gesture of love and gratitude to do things for Mary and with Mary our Mother and companion who will present our offerings to our Lord Jesus perfectly. I have been a catholic my entire life. I have also been blessed with the Blessed Mother appearing in front of me. She told me to pray so I put my head down and prayed the Our Father. When she left my presence I asked myself why I didn’t fall to my knees and I immediately said because I didn’t worship her. I then asked myself why I didn’t say the Hail Mary and I immediately said to myself because you don’t worship her. She is not holier than the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but holier than the rest us. Yes She is real and alive just as Christ is. She excepts your prayers and gives them to Our Father only because Our Father allows her to do so. But She asks that we repent and pray to Our Father, Her Father because, she also loves us and wants us in heaven. This prayer also relieves the pain of her son Christ. Please pray to The Blessed Mother asking for her to pray for us. But you must put your faith in God not her. We live through Christ not her. And having her appear in front of me I feel I’m am and always will be very close to her and I know she is telling me to always put Christ first never worship her. As a Catholic I never worshiped her only our Father and she loves me for that. Yes God is real. Christ is real, the Holy Spirit is real and all one and yes their Mother picked by God Himself is also real. Just put Christ first in your life and you will be saved. God Bless you all.

@@truth2232 To love Jesus is to love his Mother also. With out the Virgin Mary you would not have Jesus Christ. She is the Immaculate conception. Born without sin.

We have never worshiped the Blessed Virgin, we worship her Son you may have heard of him GOD, JESUS, HOLY SPIRIT. Do the research before spewing lies.
This is indeed a great mystery - there is so much truth to this that even to be able to passively believe in it requires Grace from God and the Son of God - a normal “Bible Believing” mind like most American “Reformed” Christians have will NEVER grasp this - this is probably the highest form of living. BUT, like I said earlier - it is only perceived by pure souls who are ready for it.
Thank you so much Gabi for this insight on how to live the total consecration to Mary. I did the steps for the consecration a while back but I know that I have not lived it well because other than saying the rosary, I have not done much other changes. Thanks again. God bless you and keep you passionate in your faith
I consecrated my self to our lady a month ago before I fell off a roof and sadly broke my back and destroyed my left side of my head and I fell in a bad coma but the Virgin Mary prayed for me to wake up so now I do everything for her and if Jesus wills if I’ll walk for her too
My friend I am sorry to hear about your situation, but Mary is no longer a virgin and is not praying from her grave. Only God can change your situation.

I do this often. Instead of getting a resentment for having to do things that I feel are not my responsibility, I do them as an act of gratitude to the Blessed Mother for Her intercession to deliver me from alcoholism. What was a chore done with bitterness is now a joyful act of devotion.
@@sammygomes7381 The book of Hebrews pictures life as a great arena, with those who have gone before us cheering us on in our daily spiritual struggles (see Hebrews 12:1). Once when Jesus’ appearance was changed and His heavenly glory shone through, Moses and Elijah spoke with Him about events on the earth (see Luke 9:30-31). That was from Billy Graham.
@@sammygomes7381 in Revelation 6:10 we see martyrs in Heaven praying to God, asking Him to take specific action on earth. These are saints who have died and are now in God’s presence. They’re actively praying for God’s justice on earth for persecuted believers. It seems likely they’d also be interceding for other aspects of their suffering brethren’s welfare.
@@sleeperno1215 Go back one verse to Rev 6:9 "When He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony they had held." Notice they are just the souls of those born-again during the tribulation.

That is what the bible says, What the bible doesn't say is she was immaculate, remained a virgin, was assumed, is a queen of heaven, and the mother of God, because she wasn't.
Recently I just started reading the true devotion to our virgin Mary by saint Louis de Montfort. I will start it after my baptism on Easter this year in three months time!
I need to practice this . Keep me( Christina) in your prayer that I was unable to consecrate to mother Mary for years because I give priority to my own happiness. In my life sorrows were more than of happiness. I was away from Mother Mary because of losing holiness 💐💔 I need to get back to her 😢 keep me in your prayer

I’m in the middle of doing load of things in my house and im feeling overwhelmed with my newborn. Thank you for this bc it’s true if we give it to Mary we want to do it right.
One of those masterpiece written by St Montfort about the total celebration, even deeper than "The Secret of Mary" is "The true consecration to Blessed Virgin Marry"
Yes do consecration for everyone Mary, Joseph, his father, mary' uncle , Mary's aunt, Joseph's parents and grand parents . Ridicule christianity with best of your efforts . Best consecration

From the Ignatius Press study bible: “In this sense, the mediation of Christ is absolutely unique. Still, the mediation of angels and saints is not ruled out, since union with Christ enables others to share in the saving work of Christ in subordinate and participatory ways. Paul assumes as much in the immediate context, for he urges Timothy and company to pray for civil authorities, i.e., to intercede as mediators between God and their governors in the course of the liturgy (1 Tim 2:1-3) (CCC 618, 970, 1349, 2636).”
@@DrChaunceyBlevins It’s clearly ruled out by the word “one mediator” means not two or not three. Also, the exclusivity of Christ as mediator to Father in John 14:6. Of course we can ask other living souls to intercede and pray for us but dont think thid applies for dead souls.., We don’t even sure that those saints were 100% truly saved, yes its possible but not 100%. Only Christ can make that call, if we assume that they are saved, then it imply that we already took the authority to judge people which was only reserved to Christ as Judge of all. Please Remember Matthew 7:21-23.
@@Truthmatters- what is a “dead soul” as a Christian? Is that what the Scriptures say? Are not that saints in Revelation 5:8 and 8:3 very much alive? I will remember Matthew 7:21-23. And also Hebrews 12:1-2, which rightly illustrates the holy saints of heaven cheering us on as we race towards Jesus!
@@DrChaunceyBlevins for “dead souls, I was referring to those who died. I think you are confused with the catholic saints and biblical living saints. The Bible teaches that those Christians who are still “alive” are called saints see Romans 1:7, 1 Cor 1:2, 2 Cor 1:1, etc. I believe contextually, they were the saints inferred by Rev and not the dead ones just to be consistent. Also, I don’t see the need to pray to the Father through the intercession of ‘dead’ saints where I can pray directly and approach His throne with confidence through His Son Jesus Christ (The only ONE who mediates between man and God). Heb 4:14-16. God bless
@@Truthmatters- Reading 1 Timothy 2:1-4 talks about praying for all people being pleasing to God, and that He wants us all to come to knowledge of the truth. Directly after it refers to the one mediator as Christ, "who gave himself for ransom for all people". The mediation Paul is talking about is Jesus's sacrifice and ransoming our souls. Praying for each other mediates in a way that Paul is not referring to in this context. Paul himself says we should pray for each other, which suggests that he doesn't mean members of the body of Christ cannot mediate, but that we should try to help bring each other to Christ who has saved us. In the context of 2 Timothy, Christ's mediation is not about never going to anyone but Jesus, it's about the mediation which Jesus alone has done for us. It would be beyond the context to say Paul is referring to prayer. If we believed that Jesus did not bring about our salvation, then we would be contradicting Paul, but not if we were going to a Saint like Mary in prayer. Catholics believe (as the early church did) that Mary is sinless. We go not just by scripture but tradition, which the early church did as well. The tradition of no authority but the Bible is strange when it says in the Bible to go to the Church in certain scenarios, (like if you are resolving an issue), and that the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth. We can bring prayers before Saints/Mary, and this has been a Church teaching since the very early Church. The early church teaches what the modern Church teaches on these things. St. Ignatius of Antioch died a martyr less than 100 years after Jesus died. He wrote this about the Church (which fits The Church's teaching today on prayer/other aspects of the Church itself and may be unsettling for those who think the Church is blasphemous/idolatrous): "Let no man deceive himself: if any one be not within the altar, he is deprived of the bread of God. For if the prayer of one or two possesses[4] such power, how much more that of the bishop and the whole Church!"
Wow this is easy to understand! I have wanted to be devoted to Mary and consecrated to her, but I didn't really understand practically what all that means.
I read the prayer for the consecration to Our Lady. I think it's a tough call and I feel like I have to do some housecleaning first before consecrating to our Blessed Mother.
This is the best way to put it. I'm consecrated to St Joseph along with my discalced carmelite group. We can do that same thing with St Joseph. We brush our teeth and buy groceries for and with St Joseph to please St Joseph. You give it to St Joseph and he gives it to Jesus Christ.
There are no bible verses about consecrating ourselves to Joseph, Mary, Peter or anybody else but the Lord. Turn away from your idolatry and pagan practices.
