@@jokesterthemighty227 Smearing is different with Squash and Stretch isn't it? smearing act as a motion blur, while S&S act as force and material indicator.
So you are getting paid to do this, right? This video will blow up, right? You are gonna get many more subs, right? Because holy shit, this video is S tier. The presentation was smooth, fast but not too fast, attractive, informative, and over all amazing visuals. If I were a game designer, you’d be my first pick for a partner!
Not only is the art style you've chosen appealing, the level of effort comes through very clearly. It's impressive how thoroughly you've mapped visual examples to the dialogue. Definitely continue down this path. Also consider changing your name to Pixel Overlord.
Amazing presentation, points delivered with a unique art style. So happy I got to watch the premier and interact! The early example of the extra axe frames are very important, education-wise. As some viewers have mentioned, the audio was sometimes masked via the background music. That is always been an issue with headphones and youtube, of getting it just right. I have to see in your example, it kind of fitted the theme of being in a forest and listening to the water and birds, good workaround! Your work is inspiring and a case study. Thanks for sharing! Watching again and again. Also, I am envious of those trees.
This is AWESOME! All your background screens/decorations and tutorial itself.. I can believe that you spend so much time to create not only tutorial but the all small staff around: window, text etc. Thank you mate!
You're finally back! Love the tutorial and your coloring is so cool (I mean colors warm and cool of course if you watched his tutorial for coloring) anyway, you're a legend and I will always support you
I LOVE your art style! It feels smooth, rounded and even painted while not losing any of the charm that pixel art has. The colors are all especially pleasing to look at! I've watched this video more than 10 times already just for the art!
More so than the amazing content explained in the voiceover, I found myself pausing the video again and again just to stare at the gorgeous hand drawn scenery in awe. Admiring all the little details and colour choices, and making note for next time I'm behind the drawing pad as well. The value and inspiration this video brought me is unbelievable. 10/10, one of the few creators I'll ever press the notification bell for.
This is one of the most amazing pixel animation tutorials I've ever seen, as well as one of the most amazing pixel animations I've ever seen! Incredible work, thank you
i love how he got really better than last time... truly amazing music and video editing... also can you please make a video on astronaut and baggy suits?
I really like your art, there's so much attention to detail, and the overgrown theme is really cool, kinda sad the algorithm doesn't recommend this to more people
Hey Pixel Overload! I just wanted to say that I really appreciate the hard work and effort that you put into your RU-vid videos! I often find myself coming back to watch them, not for the tutorial, but just to appreciate the art that you create. The imagery that you are able to create with pixel art is like nothing I've ever seen before, I admire and aspire to be able to create like you can one day. Anywho, just wanted to say thanks for all the hard work you do to share these videos with us, have a good one!
I've never seen such well produced video in my entire life. A tutorial like this is an artwork itself to say the least. Amazing work, thank you for making this.
On top of being an excellent source of information, this video was absolutely beautiful! I kept having to rewind cuz I lost track just watching the background
Loved it! Especially the part of motion planning vs editing sprites. Its some I do, its always bad, but I never thought about it as a bad habit until now. Thanks!
Holy shit this was not just a good straight to the point tutorial but it also motivated me to learn pixel art more because this stuff looks sooo beautiful, amazing video!
Spectacular video. Truly. I can't seem to grasp the injustice of this video not being viral, compared to videos blowing up with a fraction of a fraction of the work put into it. You've earned my humble like and I'm now forever your subscriber!
The amount of time this video must've taken to make is huge and you can just tell from the insane quality. You are so talented and thank you for teaching me these tips, I never knew about these tactics u can use. These are gonna be a great help. Thanks.
Wow. This is a beautifully executed tutorial - thank you for the epic, concise info encapsulated in such a gorgeous container! Your animations and subject matter are truly beautiful and inspirational 🙏🏼👌🏼😻
Man I love your pixel art style, it's so warm and nostalgic. And this tutorial is absolutely insane. I learned exactly what I needed too while also being drawn in by how good the animation was. Incredible work.
Honestly, I'm the type of person that just watch and exit, then browse and watch and exit. However, I immediately dropped a like and a sub just by watching the first 60s of this video.
for real we love to see more of your works and tips, simple and effective, plus you're the only one who makes detailed sprites like the large ones and medium ones
I knew 80% of these I think ... but this really hit home.... I'm guessing I will be referring back to it as reference all the them ... very good job on this really digestible vid 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
