Probably one of the smoothest pitches, but the entrepreneur apparently backed out of the deal with Loti and it did not close! The product seems to be doing well and still in business but feel like an opportunity missed

but stuff like this already exists. I had a portable propane camping cooker that does the same exact thing and it weighs way less. I bought it at Decathlon. When people hike, they want light-weight equipment, not ghostbusters-esque contraptions.

With inflation the way it is, the lower equity and 75 cents makes more sense if you truly believe your product will be succesful. That 75 cents isn't inflated over time, but the higher equity would be. The buying power of the dollar has halved since 1990, meaning that 75 cents would be more equivalent to 37 cents in the near future.

Watching this show is a blessing and a curse. Makes me sick when I hear things retailing for 200 bucks that cost 30. The mark up/profit is insane. Granted, I know that the vast vast majority of all goods sold have huge profit margins/mark ups. But being reminding of them turns me off a product.
