I think the kerfing jig is brilliant and it just happens I have some spare mahogany too. Happy days :) another great video.

Fantastic look at making to most of the band saw. And the traditional dry Brit humor adds something to the presentation.. really enjoyed filling that box with clamps..and I bet you were glad when that was done.. obviously the mahogany will add the necessary tonewood for a darker tone to complement the maple.. just kidding .. but I bet it bends a bit easier and glues up better.. you gave me a great idea for trimming up the base of my rounded staircase.. I was wondering how I was going to trim out that curve.. thanks mate..!!

fastest 15 minutes in video! i've rewired the electronics on a few 335's for people and have used aquarium tubing, string, custom bent wire, fish tape, and a dozen other things to try and make rewiring easier. not happening. i've always thought if i had the opportunity to scratch build a 335 i'd prewire everything i could ( pots, switches, pickups, jack etc) before i put the skins on the framework. fishing stuff through "f" holes is a real challenge. the access hole on the center block is a good idea but still requires fishing things around. it'll be interesting to see how it works out. long live the kerfolux 2000!

Love the kerf jig - neat. Sell it to Stewmac! I'm a fan of using clothes pegs too - much cheaper than clamps. Good trick with the elastic bands. In case it helps anyone, instead of holding things together, you can also use the opposite end of the peg - the 'handle' end - to hold things apart. This can be handy when e.g. gluing something to the inner wall of an aperture. Another very enjoyable video, thanks. This guitar is coming along great.

The simplicity of the kerffing jig is a beautiful thing. I used the same type of clamps on my first build and half way through #2 bought some cheap spring clamps. Might get them in a video someday.

Definitely stealing the kerfing jig idea when I make my first acoustic. That's just simple and genius with consistent repeatability! Yet another 15 minutes of pleasure that was over way too quickly!
