I was on a backorder on a G2 .30 cal with a few goodies also. Seen your first 7 minute video yesterday evening. I canceled my G-.30 and went and ordered me a Gauntlet SL-.30 directly from Umarex USA. I am going to get it before my original backordered one! Minus the original rifle ordered....My scope, bipod, Mloks,targets, and pellets N' slugs are on thier way! I'll get my G-SL.30 before X-MAS because of your channel!!! You got a new subscriber man!!! I love the Gauntlet and always wanted one and thought it would be so much better with a side lever and You showed me a last minute Christmas miracle gift and didn't even know it! Thanks again!
I think topping off the tank after each projectile change might also help with consistency in grouping giving a even realistic view of what ammunition your rifle likes regardless if the gun is regulated or not. Love the GS30. Keeping the FPS between 800/950 also makes for great accuracy. 👍
Theoretically it shouldn't until pressure drops below regulator pressure. Now if you fill up all the way to 4500psi it will fight the hammer spring for a few shots but I never fill completely up for that reason.
Hey brother, I'm 58, beat cancer, eye's and memory sucks, retired and starting in PCPs. I want a 30. Looking at: sl30, Airacuda max, Avenge x. I like the power of the Gsl 30, looks (stock) on the JTS, and modular/versatility of the Avenge X. What do you recommend?
If you like power the SL30 is what you want especially if you are hunting things like coyote. It is long and on the heavy side though. I would go with the Avenger over the JTS, far less issues and a little more power as a second choice.
All the Gauntlets are pretty much the same and I would adjust it before you even fill it.
