As an Indian, I totally agree with the fact that vegetarianism is slowly killing my population here. Now with veganism booming here, it is compounding the problems. The main reason for this trend is that a section of a community here, since ancient times, continues to monopolise or manipulate major aspects of the indian society. It ranges from projecting meat eaters as unclean till glorifying vegetables in medical shows in tv. If any doctor officially supports the goodness of meat, especially beef or pork, their lisence will be revoked by the top brass. Due to these lies, my fellow Indians naturally, even today, show slight aversion towards meat. I can only pray that my people will come out this delusion.

As an Indian guy, it really is upsetting to see the state of Indian people, especially the men. Given that a lot of them are vegetarians, it is mostly Hindus that suffer the most. Luckily I’m not Hindu so I don’t really have any reservations about meat that I need to overcome but growing up, I would eat insanely over cooked meat and it really didn’t do me any favours. It was only in the last 5 years, since I started to eat mostly meat, eventually moving onto raw meat/organs that I finally cleared my acne and actually managed to put on some muscle/size. I started to consume a raw meat diet before finding this channel but I do enjoy your content and you’ve definitely taught me a lot. Hopefully the vegetarian/vegan mind disease won’t pervert any other countries in the same way that it has India. At least I don’t live there so there’s always a bright side

The religious values in hindusim and the yoga sutras promote vegetarianism/veganism. I would blame dietary illiteracy which is making country sick and more prone to diseases. Bare in mind Indians are notoriously deficient in Vitamin D and many even in cities don't consume adequate daily protein intake. State should take necessary measures to educate people on dietary choices and daily macro and micro requirements on large scale. And in mean time, we should spread urgency of Dietary Literacy and emergence of protein intake, also need to incorporate Vitamin D3 supplement. Southern and North-Eastern states of India are heavy meat consumers btw.

I eat mostly vegetarian. I eat eggs and dairy for good quality protein and b12 then the other half of my diet all comes from plants. Im still getting a proper balance of protein (.8-1g per lb), good fats and carbs and plenty of micronutrients. I still drink coffee, and drink lots of water. Im 28 and pass for 19/20yo according to most. Alot of vegans/vegetarians don't keep track of their macros and micros and are possibly malnourished, which can cause low energy levels and premature aging.
