I'm late at the party but I'm watching ALL your Total War games (well, except Warhammer ones) and I realy that you have some know-how, both historical and tactical (I tried watching Pixalated Apollo but that's like listening to a 8 year old - sorry I know you know him). Makes sense, I didn't know how the elephants interacted with large units such as chariots but I guess we found out.

I am postulating but i tried the same and my chariots got destroyed too, better keep them apart. too good can't be too good. In certain Indian fights writings involving elephants .....1000s of them; Elephants were considered a counter to chariots, which were counter to cavalry. IDK if the game reflects that

do a test with lowest attack non anti-large armies and see the damage of the elephants, then just chariots and then none. Its tricky but gives the difference we need to find. IMO.. then do it with chariots and Elephants to see , i f a chariot dies or elephant dies its because of friendly fire. GL its difficult, but your channel is about it , right?

Yep, you are right, it is an inland fortress and located at the top of a hill. I live in Ancyra, well it is called Ankara now.

That series is just on hold as I work to get the Moments series up and running.

Depends what you're after. In terms of cost effectiveness, you would find Sparta and Baktria work well together. And nothing beats Rome in my opinion, of course if you want a 3 way faction that is. However, it is not very historically accurate and is a weird combo. Baktrian cav I find to be effective, and would complement the Spartans well (good cav to take care of ranged units) and have a truly brutal hammer and anvil with the Spartans holding off the enemy. And then Rome, very good for flexibility I find, a bit weak in terms of ranged, at least in my opinion but I tend to use velites alot, if you get them in a good spot whilst the Spartans, or any of the heavy Roman infantry hold the enemy they can be VERY cost effective. But then again, literally anything can work with Sparta, as although they are a very one dimensional faction to play as, if you have allies they complement them very well, as they do not have to worry about the pike/spear side of the army, and if Rome can bring its heavy hitting infantry without stressing about its rear being protected, you have a deadly force. Of course, it all depends on your playstyle and what you prefer to play with, I think you would see that Sparta become a very boring faction to fight battles with as you are fairly limited in what you can do, although allies will fix this. I would say you would be best replacing the Spartans with the Seleucids, of course no unit is as good as a royal spartan, in a certain perspective, but the Seleucids give the strong defensive side of the Spartans, but also give you some solid ranged and cav, whereas Sparta is very limited in that regard. This sort of went on a bit, not sure why you were asking either but hope this gave you some insight. Basically, anything would work just as long as the style of play suits you and you are good at playing as that faction.

No battle ranking in multiplayer in TW makes multiplayer games awful in terms of teammates/opponents gameplay quality. It's what TW needs, multiplayer ranking like in Company of Heroes 2 or, better yet, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege

For me the sieges were hit and miss. Defending against hordes of AI were some of the high points of my campaigns, but I often just autoresolved offensive sieges. Haven't tried multiplayer though.

I know you've got a lot on your plate, but it's worth thinking about. Maybe it's just me, but I think this is a great spectator sport. If I had a fast enough internet connection, I'd fly around in spectator mode and stream that. Hell if you got all three streams (Both opponents and the spectator) hooked up to a tri caster you could do some excellent live commentary.
