@@WhoCares-dy1kl I didn't say it was bad, I just meant it was different from the norm- a dance contest with God with "rock you like a hurricane" as the boss theme.
Maybe the gameplay is a little akward but this game is so iconic: the script, the parodies of other franchices, the animated cutscenes, the music... Feels like a good simpsons episode
@@Dukesparrow1999 it’s a shame the game isn’t so long, the game had only 4 chapters - Chapter 1 - Springfield ~ Levels 1 - 5 - Chapter 2 - Alien Invasion ~ Levels 6 - 10 - Chapter 3 - Game Engine ~ Levels 11 - 14 - Chapter 4 - Game Over ~ Levels 15 and 16 That being only 16 levels (18 on PS3, and Xbox 360, but the 2 extra levels were just the 2 hub worlds you had, they weren’t levels at all)
@@ryankz1177 That's a lot of levels, man. And many of those levels are pretty long, too. It doesn't matter if it's 4 chapters. If those chapters are long, the number of them is irrelevant.
I'm 22 as well bud. I wonder how the game Simpsons are doing after their bout with God? I would love to see them make fun of today's gaming business practices.

The music in the Simpsons game is so great! Now we just need to ask Disney for a complete live-action/animation hybrid movie adaptation of this Simpsons game.
I still remember when I first played this game, even if it was the PS2 version and not the superior PS3 version It may not be the best Simpsons game (*cough* Hit & Run *cough*) but it is still one of the best and a great game in its own right
Omg same. It didn’t even have the explorable open world portion and lacked a whole lever from the Moh parody campaign . Never played hit and run so for me , this is the best
I think this is better than hit and run, hit and run is just gta but with the simpsons and more boring, repetitive missions, you cant use weapons or even die.
Guys I just realized something you know how in the ending god is trying to play rock you like a hurricane and fails and that's why the simpsons game got in the simpsons world? Well the reason the final boss theme is rock you like a hurricane is because it's the ONE thing he couldn't beat and it caused all this to happen so the simpsons family represents the song clever......
To defeat God, you have to destroy 3 games consoles! If I remember correctly, there is the PrayStation, the Xodus Box and I think the other one was called the Hii? Obvious parodies of the PlayStation, the Xbox and the Nintendo Wii of course!
Kimmy Lister the PSP + Wii + PS2 versions had a Round 4 where God just rebuilt his “I am” console and these 3 versions were hard as fuck, you only played as Bart and Homer on the Shakespeare boss fight, which is on the modern versions anyway but when you completed it and went past the gate, the game would go through a loading sequence and you would play as Bart and Lisa instead of the whole Simpsons’ family. And as i’ve said, the sequence where you must confront god is harder than the modern versions, because it’s only Bart and Lisa, you play as bart on Round 1 and 3, and you play as Lisa on Round 2 and 4 and the delay is horrible, when you press a button it takes about 0.5 seconds for the character to actually stand on the button. There’s more unique enemies that come like a deformed sonic, one of the fire sumos, king snorky etc. As well as the enemies progressively move faster for each round, round 3 being the hardest because they move too fast and too many come, but Round 4 is slightly easier for some odd reason, but the point is the old gen had a much harder version of the confront god sequence compared to the modern consoles like PS3, Xbox 360.
That was kinda long game for that age I mean about like 4 maybe more hours not sure. I played that on PS2 and that final boss here was much more harder then for Xbox etc..

That being said, The Simpsons gone Xenogears by "Stand Tall & Shake the Heavens" ST & StH ≈ Sonic Team & Sonic the Hedgehog ≈ TS & HS ≈ The Simpsons & Homer Simpson The Simpsons and Xenogears seemed to have too much in common to be mere referential (Mian/Miang/Myahle ≈ Sherri, Terri, Patty, Selma), #SecretSpaceProgram disclosure? In "Gone Maggie Gone", they mentioned a jewel in a Fatima Prophecy x Da Vinci Code style conspiracy, who is actually a child. The Nuns choosed Maggie, Lisa choosed herself, while Homer assigned Bart as a replacement for Maggie. Like in Xenogears, where the Jasper of Fatima is actually the Eye Pattern inherited by the Fatimas, owned by: Bart, Margie, and Sigurd.
me and my friends did a race to see who could beat the game first (we were all on different consoles) and this gives me flashbacks to when I tried beating this with a controller that kept pressimg two buttons at the same time 😭😭 least I got got first place
The Last Level of this game may not be Amazing (this is probably guilty due to deadlines or hardware space compatibility issues since Level 15 took a massive blow on the modern version of the game) But you cannot deny that they did a amazing remix from an amazing classical rock song.

Actually in Level 5: Mob Rules, while the main enemies were the Riot Officers, there were in fact also Springfield children wearing Itchy and Scratchy Masks with bats. I’m not sure what the children were but on the Xbox 360/PS3 version, there was: - Ralph (which is why he’s classed as a enemy) - Nelson - Sherri & Terri - Uter - Milhouse - Martin - Jimbo - Dolph - Kearny - Nina - Wendell - Lewis - Janey
I remember many times when. like all good autistic people do. hyper fixated on stuff like this when would listen to the soundtrack for this game throughout my life. though the game it's self is ok and same for it's soundtrack. I was really into game when I was a lot younger and stupididter. but, even then tho's times where fun for little ol' me, ehy?!
