The funniest part about the Metroid bit is that Samus can actually get out of the room using a precise wall jump, but the morph ball is kinda necessary for, like, the whole game after that tho

Oh, you have no idea. I've played SMZ3 multiple times and almost everything on the Metroid side is pretty much completely blocked off without the morph ball. Sometimes I've found it pretty deep in the Zelda side. :3

Which is why he left the note. The lack of a sword to start makes things harder, but the note is what really drives it home (especially if Ganon has the Harp of Ages to keep looking to the future for the next thing he needs to do, like, for instance, kill the shop keeper so Link can't buy bombs).

1:40 ganon, you'll still be screwed unless you got to the white sword and magic sword as well. Link can easily find 30 rupees underneath 1 of the armos statues and use them to buy bombs. Then he can blow up certain mountainsides and get 2 more heart containers, which will be enough to obtain the white sword. He can also find more rupees and purchase more equipment like the candle. Eventually, he'll get through enough dungeons to have 13 heart containers and get the magic sword.

@@waterwraith3334 Ganon can't touch the Master Sword due to the whole "evil's bane" thing so he couldn't move it so Link can't find it. So that's not a worry in this case.

He's an old-school fighting game boss. I'm pretty sure almost all of them had one. Unless you're Rugal from King Of Fighters. All he had was a *small loan* of ancient snake God power, two female henchmen with powers and a battleship rigged with bombs.

Bison goal isn't to kill the most powerful fighters in the world. Bison's goal is to infuse them with psycho power both as a method to further power them up and control them. Bison's true goal is to see how powerful a warrior he can create with psycho power. Bison is obsessed with Ryu because he believes Ryu will be the perfect vessel for psycho power due to Ryu suffering from the Satsui no Hado.

Quick follow-up to my last comment, as a A Link to the Past speedrunners beating every boss in that game without the sword is done in the speedrun for Swordlesd. Although killing Ganon requires using a few things to force the game to delete him from even existing during the run. But it's just amusing to point out. Fun follow up idea would be a continuation of this where the villains lose despite the things done here.

It's pretty true. In _most_ of the earlier games Ganon isn't all that horrible. It's not until the later games after he's been denied so many times that he truly embraces his darker side and becomes a monster. Just let the guy rule Hyrule for a 100 years or so and then if he's still not happy, THEN rais up the hero and the sage.

The link one honestly feels like 1 that doesn't make sense, it always felt like the sword like an old one the old man had lying around and gave it to you hoping you'd use it to help save the world, the sword didn't get stronger, Link did, enchanting it and improving it over time.

You can't beat the game w/o a sword, you can get as far as Ganon's room, but that's it. He won't appear to shoot if you can't hit him with a sword blow first. You CAN beat the game without collecting the wooden sword, and just get enough hearts to grab white sword and magical sword instead. Also if you come back after collecting one of the stronger swords and grab the wooden sword, your stronger sword still stays.

Jokes on Gannon, I once did a run to avoid getting the wooden sword and got the white sword first. I basically had to get a rupee stash, buy bombs and then blast out two hidden heart containers. Wasn't really that hard to dodge enemies.

Past Gannon - wait he used a what? Future Gannon - Literal garbage and a shield. That's what he used to kill me... Including twigs. Past Gannon - Taking the sword didn't slow him down. Future Gannon - No... Speed run link should be kicking down your door in the next few minutes. Break Sonic - So yah... I played dead as I felt sorry for him. Tails - Why? I thought that truck got you good. Sonic - I had a truck chase me up buildings... A regular truck isn't that dangerous when compared to that. In fact most animals and hedgehogs here lose against robots and yet that doesn't stop me.

I hate Eggman and cars. Saw an episode of Adam Ruins Everything, which explains the reasons. Long story short, it's getting more dangerous to go anywhere unless you drive, and not everyone is qualified to do that thing.

Since Ganon isn’t GanonDORF anymore and has transformed into a demon pig, is he still considered a Gerudo? I say no because he *completely* changed his physiology into a demon pig, there shouldn’t be a bit of Gerudo anymore, but I’m interested in seeing what other people think.

Fun fact: in BS Legend of Zelda (not Ancient Stone, the *other* Zelda game on the Satellaview), Ganon ends up kidnapping the old man in the cave. Also there was some concept art of a future Hyrule ruled by Ganon before it was scrapped due to lacking the necessary resources in development.
