Think about it: this song is such an obvious contender for a lead single, and yet it hasn’t been released as a single at all. It’s as if Thom didn’t want to be perceived as pandering to playlists, but knew he’d written a great song and wanted to release it anyway. And that makes me Smile. :)

I'm feeling Cure vibes with this catchy song & Thoms voice. Simple lyrics yet so profound ~ " Get it while you can, or get sad & just get mean ". 👍🏻😻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This makes me nostalgic for the early 80s. Even the way Thom is singing is reminiscent of electronic new wave bands back then.

This song feels like it should be on the soundtrack of some gritty Cyberpunk thriller movie. All of the songs on ALFAA sound cinematic in different ways, honestly!

I remember the moment when I was coming home late at night and this song came on. I just started running. It felt like I was trying to run away from something and catch up with something at the same time. Great album, but this song is the best.

Great Trip

Sounds a bit like a Cure song, which is never a bad thing. Maybe a bit better because of Thom's beautiful voice. He never produces anything bad, ever!!

80s vibes and I love it! So different for them and what a tune!

To me, this sounds like Magazine [the Mancunian post-punk band from the late 70's] covering a Krautrock track. And seeing that I'm a fan of both, it's right up my strasse. Presently, my favourite track on the LP, but it's changing with every listen. Which is always a sign that it's a quality album, when you notice new things on different tracks with every listen. It's amazing that they can continue to keep the quality of their releases this high when most bands start to repeat themselves and sound stale after a few LP's most of the time.

This is the best song of the album by far. It smells to me like Atoms for Peace but with some garage rock distortion vibe

This will be a Smile's classic in a couple of years

Stupendous. The visual artist is focused on clouds. I always found the terminology 'no clouden,' amusing because I didn't always partake & it's easy enough to imagine a utopian vestige in the sky ... Looking for Jack or Jacques & legumes. The sci-fi writer sees space fleet personnel looking out the windows of their shuttles at the archipelago of Risa, wondering to themselves what island is theirs for their weekend sabbatical. Maybe there is a seminar or conference... At least we can smile about it.

I love this song because it's a mash up of punk and synth super enhanced with the pops and crackles of something inherently from the 80's (equipment). I like the sort of "HERE COME THE MONSTERS" vibe coming from the video almost like something from what I'd expect to find on my art classroom wall at school when I attended in the 80s .. time's gone by and something is gonna getcha
