Thanks John 👍🏻 Yes it’s pure therapy to go into the forest and practice once’s no 1 hobby. I had hoped it would snow yesterday, when I was out … but it’s first today it came 👍🏻 It’s not much winter we have had this year in Denmark 🤔😏
Delicious looking lunch. Also, great camera work. That has to be a lot of work to keep moving the camera around to all of those angles. Especially while you're prepping your lunch. The transitions looked very natural.
Thanks my friend for the lovely comment 😁 I appreciate that you take notice on my camera work I’m trying to make great videos every time … and doing it different every time 😊😎

Hi Tom lovely vidio beautiful looking woodland so peaceful a quiet I could not even hear the glug of the whiskey going in the coffee you did bring some didn't you say yes🤔 All the best Geoff.
Ha ha 😁 thanks Geoff for your concern. I always bring my whiskey 🥃 … but sometimes I forget to put it in my coffee ☕️ … and that what happened yesterday 😔😞😖 I’m so sorry 😐 … but one the positive side … this must mean that I’m not a alcoholic 😇🤪👌🏻 ha ha. Thanks for your comment my friend 😉
Damn, Cimbrer, you made fast work of that flint and steel. You're skilled with it. I've seen a lot of flint and steel practice on youtube, and that was by far the fastest light I've seen. You do seem to master your craft.
Thanks a lot my friend for your kind words 👍🏻😁 I think I’m good at it 😇 … sometimes faster than others … but I love to do it that way 👌🏻🔥🌲🇩🇰 See you on the next one 😉
Hey Tom , lang geleden ... maar wat een mooie video , door de CORONA hier in Holland kijk ik (bijna) al je video's ik geniet van elke video , zo rustgevend en relaxt .. Dank voor de mooie beelden ... grtz . Janneman (Holland) (T)aking (C)are of (Bi)ssnes ... TCB
Hello again Tom...your video illustrates exactly why I don't understand the insistence of some channels to overlay their videos in nature with pop music. To each their own, but as far as I'm concerned, nature is far more enjoyable when it is permitted to speak for itself. Thank you for this serene and meditative experience...very pleasant. 👍👍👍👍
Thanks Stephen for your kind feedback and support 👌🏻😁 I appreciate that you like my silent video … and I agree 100% 👍🏻😊 Have a wonderful Sunday my friend 🔥🌲🌤🐶
Thanks Phil for your positive feedback and kind support 😉 I appreciate to have you as a subscriber and hope you’ll have a wonderful Sunday 🌤 Atb to you my friend 🌲⛺️🔥

Hi Canada 🇨🇦 … I’m very happy if you are going to watch all my videos 👍🏻😁 Thank you for that 🤗 … and the ads 😉 … which does it possible for me to make a little money I can use in my Bushcraft hobby. Thanks for your interest and support for my channel 👌🏻😎
Beautiful video. The sounds of the woods are always pleasant and very relaxing. I bet your jute twine fiber would take a spark from a ferrous rod really easily
Hi Thomas 👋🏻 yes I’m sure it’ll be very useful with a ferrous rod to. It’s almost “bust in flames 🔥 “ as you could see in the video. Very good material to use 👌🏻😁
One way I have of knowing a video is a great one, is when I realize long before the end that I want to be out there doing what you are doing...and you have me aching to get out there! Thank you and best wishes to you. Bibsoutdoors
Nice video and a thanks for the great tip of combing the fibers. I use the same folding knife for processing food, but I use the stainless steel version because the carbon one gives some kind of taste to the food, in my opinion. Thanks for your videos and greetings from Spain
Thanks Josè for your comment and support to my channel 👍🏻😁 You’re not the first that tells me that about carbon steel. I’ll see if I get the same problem 😊 Thanks for your tip 👋🏻
Cheers bach. Nice tarp setup. I have yet to try my tarp but will be trying it very soon. I like the way you have done it so going to try follow this. . Its a DD tarp 3x3. So look out 😂😂. Again cheers 👍🏻
Exactly 👍🏻😎 I love it very much and have it with me on almost every hike … but I guess it’s a little bit bulky Thanks for your feedback Atb to you my friend 🌤🌲🔥
Bjorn Andreas Bull-Hansen the opinel knives are a French classic and really useful as well as cheap. They have a simple lock mechanism which because it's a simple ring not a button isn't illegal in the UK. I've got several tucked in my kit.
That jute twine lights super easy on a spark, no char cloth required, or blowing into the bundle (avoid flare ups while in your hands). Evidence is the flare up while in your hands. There is so much dry surface area with jute fibers, fire spreads almost like it's got alcohol on it. I start all my fires from jute twine soaked in wax. A good bees wax not only makes the fire start hotter, you use much less of it, it burn longer AND it keeps the jute waterproof. Is that bird audio "Bird ambience 2" from EpidemicSound or do you record yourself?
Hi 👋🏻 Thanks for sharing your experience with jute twine 👍🏻 All ways great to hear other Bushcrafters tips 👌🏻😉 The music is 4 different bird sounds track I’ve put together I’ve bought the sound files from a firm called SoundSnap
Cimbrer Bushcraft smart, I have to pay epidemicsound every month... I have invested in a Zoom H2N which is a 4 channel mic/recorder capable of recording 360 degree spatial sound in both x/y and m/s patterns. I'm going to try and record what ever sounds are around me where ever I backpack to. I'm making a video this weekend that shows my recipe and technique for my fire start if you are interested. I use the 5 ply jute twine, cut it into 9" strips, then melt some bees wax add some olive oil and submerge the pieces for minutes, take out and dry, the dip one more time. I can keep 10 of these in my bushcraft knife sheath. I use the OKC Blackbird SK-5 knife in a Hedgehog Leatherworks sheath with 3/8" Ferro rod/holder, and pouch. That pouch can get wet, but those 10 jute twine strips can be submerged in water for hours and with a quick flick be used to start fire, like they were never under water. Plus, each strip has 5 fire starts, so really you are getting up to 50 fire starts in a very small space and lightweight, that does not have to be protected from the elements at all. If you are interested I can post a link here when I published the video? I'm subscribing to you now, I like what I see here :-)

Mange tak Esen 👍🏻😁 din google translatør giver et lidt sjovt svar. Men jeg kan forstå din venlighed og den er jeg glad for… TAK. Thanks Esen. The google translate gives a weird feedback. But I can understand that it’s friendly and I appreciate that very much 👍🏻😁 Thanks my friend
